Tuesday Roll Call
I got my lectures and quiz done and moved on to phase one of coding.
Went to urgent care with Cheryl after she got off work yesterday. X-rays showed no fractures. Plan is to stay off of it and wear a brace while working from home the next day or so and make an ortho appt for Friday which she can cancel if it gets better.
On to coding phase two and then a trip to the loop this afternoon and a hack at the merchandise mart tonight.
How about you?
Hi Randy and OH Chickas,
I had a long day yesterday. I decided to try a Celebrate Recovery Meeting last night. I dont know if it's for me. It sounds awesome but it is a huge time commitment to do the 12 steps over the 9 month period. I have a feeling it would be worthwhile for my food addictions/sexual abuse issues.
I am swimming this morning and then I am going to come home and do some major cleaning. I need to attend to my baseboards and floors. Can hardly wait....yeah right!
Randy, I am so glad to hear Cheryl is not seriously hurt. Blessings!
It's funny the dryer fires were mentioned. I had something weird happen to me. I always clean my vents after each use but i could tell there was some fuzz down below the door that I couldnt get to yesterday. So I stuck a skinny round brush in the little hole and up came a crap-load of lint. OMG. I am going to call someone to clean it out. I dont think Grathell can do it. When I mentioned it to him he seemed nonplussed.
Have a great day dear ones,
Hugs,
Sharon
Hello everyone
Yesterday was another one of those hectic fly by days. I couldn't belive how fast it went by. I just had so much work to get done. But it was nice to have a Monday fly by.
Then I went to pick up some things at Walmart. Got home and started doing some things on my to-do list and never got around to working out. Oh well. There always today.
Today I have nothing but work and working out. Thank goodness
Chris left his hard drive at my place. He has thousands and thousands of songs. So I am currently looking through them and seeing what I like and coping them over to my computer. How handy is that. So I was doing that last night. Amoungst other things. He also told me about getting rebates, discounts and alike on the drug manufacture's website. My one migraine med is a copay of $50 but with the coupon I found online it will only cost me $15. But I had to call in to get it validated. But worth the trouble.
Anyway..have a good day all...see ya later.
Good Morning All
I was going to go to Pekin today, to have lunch with Monica, and see her new office. but, it isn't going to happen. So, I will just take Morgan home to Bloomington.
For everyone, don't only clean out your dryer vents inside, but also where the vent exits the house. There could be a buildup of lint in there as well.
Dawn, your outdoor lighting fixture is great. I think I may steal the idea. Actually, that looks like one I had in the early 70's, I loved the idea that I had both upper and a lower spot light.
Nancy, you ar forgiven for not checking in for a few. How about a picture of you new furbaby. Hubert will not let me have another pet. He said we are both gone so much, it wouldn't be fair to a cat.
Sharon, we will have to plan to meet someday this summer for lunch.
Randy, I am glad Cheryl went to urgent care. Now she knows what she is dealing with.
Have a great day,
Hugs,
Good morning Randy and the rest of Illinois!
Todd cleans the lint trap of the dryer after every load, but neglected to clean down below or the exit vent for way too long. He learned his lesson. For some reason, he took on the laundry years ago. I can't complain, but will have to remind him to clean the lint more often in the future.
Yes, Lisa......the chandelier was a 70's model and it had a downward lamp also, but that probably will not work too good for solar lights. Glad you like it. I would have loved it on the porch, but again....it needs sunlight to work.
We are taking Riley and Amber camping this weekend for Riley's birthday. Hopefully, the weather will be good. I prefer to "camp" in a hotel or at the least a cabin. Oh well......things we do for our grandkids.
Randy--glad there are no fractures.
Nancy----congrats on the new baby. Pictures?
Crystal---so happy for you and Chris.
Work today then maybe a Wally World trip before home.
Everyone have a lovely day!
This little bundle of fur is Buffy. She is about the size of your hand and scared stiff right now. She was doing well and I let her get down on the floor this morning and she got spooked and high tailed it to the basement. She is now in hiding and cannot be found. Hopefully she will get hungry enough to come out. Fresh tuna will be tried in about 15 minutes. She loved that earlier. She is not too sure of her brothers and sister right now. But that will change after she realizes that they are not out to hurt her. She is one brave little kitty in hissing and swatting at them and getting them to back off. And they obey! Last night she got down from the back of my chair to eat and Gizmo climbed up there. She climbed back up and let her know that she was claiming that spot and he had to leave. It was so funny. She should be fine in a few more days.
I had AT& T back out today to look AGAIN at the phone problems. This was after another 2 1/2 hours on the phone with them again yesterday. Such fun.
Randy, I am glad that Cheryl went to the doctor. I hope she feels better soon. It can take several weeks for a hairline fracture to show so be patient if it hurts a lot.
Sharon when you finish your cleaning you can come spring clean at my place.
Crystal, that is neat about the coupon saving websites. Please share.
Lisa, I hope all is okay with you.
Dawn, I checked on facebook to see your light fixture. That is awesome! I really like it!
Chris, hope you had a good time in Ceadarburg.
Connie, whats new in your corner of the world. Surely there is some event that is interesting going on. You always seem to find neat places to visit and things to do.
Everyone take care.
Cat Lady
Nancy- you just go to the manufacture of your medicine. So who ever makes the medicine you are taking. I had to look up my medicine on the internet to find out, I had no idea. Some are Abbott, Merck, Baxter...to name a few. Just look on their websites for money saving coupons, discounts or other deals.
