Sunday Roll Call

Happy Sunday,

Do you think that we may not get any rain today? They are calling for a slight chance of rain this morning, then a chance after 1 p.m.

I have Morgan here with me for a couple of days. Maybe we can get the one room cleaned up while she is here.

Yesterday, I really was feeling yucky. I was just not me. I started feeling better in the late afternoon, just before Morgan, Monica and Scott arrived.I still have a stiff neck that started on Friday. I can never remember, heat or cold? I am taking a APC for it.

We need to go to Walmart today. Morgan forgot her sleep pants, and I told her I wouls get her a new pair of sandles or flats.

There will be a stroll this morning then half a weeks Rice videos and a quiz and maybe practice exercises.

Yep, I have been in a crisis of faith for about six months now.  I have long seen a building of very humanistic tendencies in folks saying they are following Christ and it has finally overwhelmed the spiritual side.

Crisis doesnt sound very good. I'm sorry you are having this happen.

Religious dogma is not God. God is 2 things only: love and serving. The enemy tells us a lie when he exchanges dogma for what God truly is. 

God loves you from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet. He looks at you and sees a perfect child. He delights in you. He wants you to know that He will never leave you. He is always with you and His protection is always there.

Good Morning Lisa and friends,

What a wet spring we have had. I would not be surprised if we had a shower today.

Yesterday was simply perfect. We went to Braidwood to their whole town garage sale. We have friends there and sat with them all day while they sold their things. We had a blast. There is something about hanging out with people you have known for over 30 years. We were laughing about our dating years. i had forgotten about so many laughable moments. The day flew by even tho we got there early and stayed late.

There was a lot of whooping and hollering with the Hawks game last night. Me and the cats were settled in bed watching HGTV when I heard my husband and a few neighbors screaming like a bunch of teenagers. A few minutes later when the fireworks started I knew they had won. Flea Market Flip was way more interesting I think.

Quiet day today.........church and then who knows?

Good morning!

Kay is working at Khlem Arboretum today and I am just hanging out. I'd like to go to Art on the Lawn but I don't need to spend money so I'll probably just hang out here. We had a nice dinner at Social last night and then I watched the Law and Order SVU marathon. Big excitement!

That's about all I know for today.
