Wednesday Roll Call

Every week, here comes Wednesday.

Well I guess I should be happy as my Wii says I am down 10 pounds since I came home from surgery and I had lost 2 pounds while in hospital.

Saw just a bit of some commercial on a parody of the fast and furious for the slow and tedious.  That is me in so many ways.  Learning OO is going well but very slow and very tedious so I hope I get it down in time to write this weeks programming assignment.

Hello everyone

I couldn't post yesterday morning because I had to run a virus scan and it took forever.  When I got home I had to do laundry and other things I put off doing during the weekend.  Yesterday at work was a busy work day too because I wasn't in on Monday so it was twice the work plus my reports I have to do.  So busy, busy, but it made the day go by so very fast.  I barely looked up all day (except for lunch) and it was already 2:30!!!  I love days like that...some people find it very stressful but I like it.   

My butt and thigh muscles are very sore today.  I don't what I did different that they are so sore.  Hmmm.... 

Which by the way congrats Randy on the weight loss!!!! 

I have to say it I am so sick of all this rain and gray skies.  I want blue skies and sun!!!  So here's to wishing for some sun.  Maybe I will do a sun dance!!!

Good Morning Everyone!

I am writing in green because when I left home today I could not help but notice how GREEN everything was.  I dont know if it is due to all the rain that we have had or that the sun was out but it was such an intense color this morning!  I loved it! 

Today is work and then getting my hair done.  My dermatologist appointment was fine.  My skin growths are just normal aging marks that can look like cancer.  My dermatologist was very polite to not point out that this was caused by getting old.   

Tomorrow and Friday I have off.  Friday is Gage's graduation!  We are excited about that. 

Fluffer did go in for a hair cut yesterday and he even got a water bath!  He definitely was not a happy camper last night but he looks so cute and he made up to everyone by bedtime.  Rick managed to catch him.   So that is one less thing to worry about. 

Dawn, I love your porch.  It looks so nice and relaxing. 

Randy, I have never heard about the program you are working on.  Good luck.

Crystal, it sounds like thingsare going great for you.  I am so happy for you.

Lisa, I hope you can get together with your coworkers.  That sounds like fun.

Connie and Sharon, I hope you are recovered from travels.  They are fun but it seems like we need a vacation to recover from vacation.

Python is just one of these.  It is a programming language and used by many companies.  My thought is that many folks these days use computers.  Not sure if this thought includes you.  Just like there are folks that ride in, drive, repair, build and design cars the same is true of computers and computer languages.

Can you believe we have made it almost to June already. Hopefully the rain is gone, and we can now get on with summer.

I want to get the twinb beds changed today.Do my hair, Also go outside and clean up the outside areas. Maybe get the rest of the lawn stuff out. We will see, we will see. So, while I am outside, I will also dump the water off of the top of the pool. We haven't opened it yet, and with the rain we had over the weekend, it needs it.

I met some co-workers for lunch yesterday. It was fun to yak with everyone. They don't think anyone who is layed off, me included, will be called bac****il fall. Again, we will wait and see. I think I did good with lunch yesterday, I ordered stuffed peppers. It came with slaw or salad, baked potato and peas. I brought home, the potato, Hubert will eat it, and 1/2 the stuffd peppers, my lunch for today. The slaw went to a friend who ordered a sandwich.

Dinner tonight with friends, then a trip to Menards to get a storm door for one of our rentals.

Good morning Randy and the rest of Illinois!

Work today, bread store, then home.  I live an exciting life.  Hoping to get a walk in if the rain stays away.

Last night, I sat on the porch, read and watched the storm come in.  Very nice.  I have to get the furniture painted so that it will be more comfortable.  I found a rocker at a yard sale for $ 10.00 and now I know why.......it is a bit flat on one runner so it does not rock correctly.  I am pretty sure I can get a neighbor to fix that right up.  It did not dampen my enjoyment in the least.

Congrats on the weight loss Randy.  I really need to get back to exercising.  But now......I need to get back to work...break is over.

Awesome weight loss, Randy. Anytime the scale moves 10 lbs, that is impressive. You must be sooo very happy. 

Today I was in Flossmoor all day at a leadership conference. It was a good day. Our leader from the Vineyard came in to do it. Great worship music, great message, great rejuvenation.

I sure am glad i turned on the air before I left this am. It is sticky out there and nice and cool as I type away. 

Tonight it is going to be a cold-cuts kind of night. No way am I turning that stove on.

I am off to spend some quality time with my hubby.
