Tuesday Roll Call

Good Morning Everyone

Well it is Tuesday but for those working people it is also Monday.  We get to have 2 Mondays this week.  Aren't we lucky?  I hope everyone had a great weekend.  Mine was very laid back and relaxing.

Today Fluffer was supposed to go to get a new lion cut however he did not want any part of the carrier so I guess he will not get a hair cut today.  He needs one badly. 

I have work and then an appointment with my dermatologist to look at a couple of moles that I don't like the looks of. moles.  Probably nothing but need to have them checked out.   

Tomorrow is work and then a hair cut and then I am off until next Monday!  Got to love the short work week!

Due to the fact I had to redo my OH acct, all my posts  are being monitered. I hope this doesn't last to long.

We went ot Bloomington yesterday, we were able to get our cookout in before it rained. It was fun, as it always is with Monica and Scott and thier friends.

It does seem like Monday, with all the rain. I am suppose to meet my work buddies for lunch today. We will see.

Nothing is on the agenda for this week. It looks to be laid back. Now, if the sun would come out, and it gets warm...............

Happy Tuesday Everybody,

Yesterday we spent the day moving from one couch to another couch to finally bed. There is something wonderful when the entire fam (all the cats and dog) huddle together and just snooze all day together. Due to the weather and the previous travel week, we were just drained. We are all revved up for a new week.

I am about to leave for the gym and later I have my mentoring appointment with my pastor. She and I usually meet on Wednesday but we have a conference tomorrow.

Unfortunately I think I am addicted to caffeine again. I drank tons of green tea while I was on vacation.  I am going to give it a little time before I try to detox off it again. I know caffeine taxes the adrenals and then it is harder to lose. 

I too need to bring the animals in to get groomed. Nancy, thanks for the reminder.

Crystal, it sounds like things are going very nicely with your new young man. I am so happy for you.

Lisa, I think summer is coming. There is just a little hiccup.

Got my evals done and on to trying to figure out OO syntax.

Good morning Nancy and the rest of Illinois!

I can't believe I forgot to stop in over this long weekend!  Looks like everyone had a nice time.

Riley and I have a BLAST on Friday!  We got wristbands and rode rides for 4 hours!  I acted like a giant kid and went on ALL the rides that they would allow.  We did the teacups, the tiny train (hillarious!), the funhouses, the Tilt-a-Whirl, the Ferris wheels and another fun ride.  We rode most of them numberous times!  The weather was perfect and we really enjoyed ourselves.  She even won a stuffed monkey!

I am glad that we did, because after that, the weather as not so great.  We went to Janesville on Saturday and spent the night with some friends.  They had the most beautiful back yard and we just lounged there until almost 1 pm on Sunday.  Then home for a graduation party and Redbox.

Yesterday was more Redbox and lazy, lazy, lazy.

Back to work today but only 3 days this week.  Yippee!  I am just going to try to do my work and ignore the rest.  I am also taking next Tuesday off to take the foreign exchange student to O'Hare.  Her host family is too busy.  She has adopted us and she is very, very sweet.  So, another short week.  Pretty soon, we will need to make a Florida loop looking at more colleges.  I think I could get to like short weeks!  If only the income were not needed.

How did you manage to get a 3 day week?

Since I have taken Fridays off, this week and next will be 3 days each.

Hi folks!

Went to spinning this morning and then was able to pick up my car. I had gotten hit in a parking lot and had to have the right front panel replaced.The shop had it while I was gone so I didn't have to rent a car. The shop even washed and detailed the car INSIDE which was a surprise to me. It was even cheaper than I expected. Wonderful wonderful!!!

Then later I went to the Bookworm and spent the day getting up to date with Rhiannon, the owner. that was great because the rest of the week she'll be too busy to chat! Also have been making Facebook connections with some of the women we met in ***** Cana. We are still reeling from the connections we made to people at the resort. Absolutely amazing! Besides the women we met from OH, we also met two who work in a bariatric clinic in CA. That was pretty awesome also!
