Friday Roll Call

Well I guess I will take out the trash today.

My roving pains continue this morning and mostly just seem to be the muscles finding their favorite place in the new location.  I decided not to give them any more ammo and stayed home from a meeting at Chicago Trust last night.

I have to take a quiz and finish a program today.

Good morning all. I think we have found a house. It is still in Freeport, but in a much safer neighborhood. We will find out for sure today. Things have been very busy this week with the kids. Seems like we are always running somewhere.

My best friend was suppose to visit this weekend, but can't due to medical problems. I am disappointed, but I understand.

Tomorrow, Monica, Morgan and I are road tripping. I think we will be going to the Amandas, over in Iowa.

Today, i am heading to the store and cleaners. I want to out and about early, before it gets crazy.

Hubert took off on his fishing trip before 6 this morning. He was like a little kid, so excited. I hope they bring home at least enough fish for a fish fry.

Yesterday, I think was the first day that I really felt like myself. That beta-blocker was really doing a number on me. I even got in a bit of a walk after it was done raining.

Do you mean The Amana Colonies in IA? Davr lived 30 miles from there while growing up. There is a nice outlet mall just west on I80 in Williamsburg. The recession hit The Amanas pretty bad. A lot of the restaurants we used to go to 30 plus years ago have closed.

Yes Cristine, the Amana Colonies, We haven't been there in years, and Morgan has never been there. Thanks for the tip on the outlet mall. We will probably do some shopping too.

 

Hello everyone

Yeah it's Friday!!!!  3 day weekend!!!

I slept weird last night.  I fell asleep on the couch lest night at around 8 and woke up at 12 and have been up since...oh well.

Today I work of course but I also have a doctors appointment.  I am going to ask about a new pain medication for my migraines because the last it took a few hours for my migraine to go away.  I am going to try Nancy's Relpax.  I also get weighed in.  I always feel some anxsiety on weigh in day...and I always feel fat (the feeling goes away once I see the scale go down).  I also always wear the lightest weight clothing I can find...every little ounce helps!!!  Then afterwards I have some errands to run Kohls, Target, and of course Chipotle.  Later tonight I am meeting Chris after work...wayyy later 9pm.  he gets off work at 9pm. 

Dawn-  I am so glad you said something to your FIL..way to stand to yourself!!!!  That must have felt good!!! 

I have also been thinking about Sharon and hope she is having a great time in New York.

Today it is cooler out but it is sunny.  I will take the sunshine any day!

Shannon, congratulations on finding a new home.  That is always exciting and a relief.  I hope the move goes well.

Randy, muscles and nerves can be a big pain during recovery.  It is hard to believe just how loudly they can protest and how long it takes them to heal.

Chris, I feel your frustration with your computer system.  These companies are more interested in signing you up and then leaving you high and dry.  I cannot believe how hard it is to get service. 

Dawn,  how great is it that your porch is done in time for the holiday weekend.  Enjoy!

Connie and Sharon, you are being missed while you are traveling.  Hope all is well.
