Hello everyone

I am so glad the week is almost over....I am looking forward to the 3 day weekend.

I am more sore today than I was yesterday...ouchie.  DOMS...you gotta love it!!!!  The backs of my thighs and my calf muscles are screaming for mercy!!!  But they get none from me...

So I was talking to Chris last night and of course the subject of me working out and losing weight came up (it's a big part of my life).  Of course he said I looked great and didn't need to lose anymore weight.  But I guess everyone here was married when they got their surgeries.  I just don't know when or how to bring up the whole subject.  Does anyone know anyone that went through this?  How did they deal with this?  I am lucky that one,  he does have a medical background and he hasn't made any negative remarks about "fat' people.  Which would be a big turn off for me.  I don't like when people start ripping on fat people around me!!!  Cuz I don't care how much I weight...I am and will always be a fat person inside!!!

Today I am working and working out...that's my exciting day...boy I tell you I am just a ball of exciting living.

Well i have to get going have a great day all, see ya later...bye

Good Morning,

Crystal, I woudn't say anything about the lapband. You are just now getting into a relationship and I think I wousd wait a bit.

Amanda Kennedy, a girl who used to be on here, was featured on Tuesday night on ABC channel 7, showing her plastics that she had done before her marriage. It was interesting, since I had met her a long time ago.

My doctor report was good yesterday. I have lost 22.5 lbs. Now, if I could remember how to change the ticker on my sig. ...

Today I have a few things to do, then we are going to the playhouse and see "Church Basement Ladies", it looks like a fun play.

Enjoy the cool weather.

Hugs,

Lisa

First welcome to the at least closer to only one hundred pounds to goal club.

Also welcome to the extra restrictions that RnY has for us.  I sometimes regret having the extra restriction but know that for me it is best and perhaps even could have been more since I can still "get away" with a few too many carbs and alcohol.  I know I really get away with nothing.  My newly adjusted body is adding a lower appetite right now and going through some healing, I hope they are healing pains.  As soon as this physical part is more leveled out I hope to attack that mental desire to do things that are not in my best interest.  I would like to connect to a group like the one at Alexian but at Northwestern.

Second just click on the ticker and you should get a page that ask for your pin then a second page that will ask for a new date and wait as well as the pin again then submit.

Happy Friday Eve!

This week is almost over!    I did get my service man from AT & T last night and fingers crossed he MAY have found the solution.  Why it was not discovered before I do not know.  It seems that the data flow coming in from the lines from the service center were not coming in at an even rate and fluctuating wildly.  He -put in new connections and the fluctuations calmed down so hopefully that was the problem.  He was the 4th person to look at the situation.  There was another service person before him yesterday that did not discover that problem.  How dumb are they?  This is their job.  cool

Last night we had my favorite chicken for dinner.  There is one place in the area who has awesome chicken.  Rick had never had it before and now he knows why I love it.

No plans today other than work and home.  It is good to see Gage again.  However I put in a tv connection in the basement where he hangs out and I probably wont see him much.  He has made it his man cave.    He appears to steal a cat or get fed.

Everyone have a great day!

Good morning Randy and the rest of Illinois!

I am working today then volunteering at the airport tonight.  Then home to the NEW PORCH!  It seems to be finished.  It was too dark to take pics last night and too rainy this morning.  Maybe tomorrow.

I am picking Riley up from her last day of school tomorrow and we are hanging out.  A barbeque on Saturday then not sure about the rest.

Crystal------although I was married when I decided to have surgery, I still had to broach the subject with my husband.  I was not sure how to go about it.  My advise is to take it slow and tell him what you are comfortable with when you are comfortable.

Gotta go as my co-worker is not here today and since she does not communicate with me in any way, she did not tell me.  So.....instead of doing the work I had planned for the day, I will be covering.  My stress level is raising again.

Everyone have a super-duper day and stay warm and dry.

Well.....short of having a full blown nervous breakdown,  I finally unloaded on my boss/FIL.  I told him how my stress level is high enough to drive me to drink and some days, how I think that driving into a wall might be better than working here.

Ball is in his court now.  I will see if any changes take place and continue with the contingency plans in the mean time.

Just felt the need to share!

"free again, free again" from the stress of a new internet set-up. Still not totally free as I could not get 2 PCs to recognize the set up key on the thumb drive. They are real old PCs and that might be the problem there. I discovered that my wireless printer for the router set-up has a "lower case" on the key pad. Silly me. I still have to check the protocal on my main computer via Comcast as I am not receiving any mail. I can only send mail on it. I can send/receive on my travel lap top. Not the end of the world. I also need to create Comcast e-mail addies. We own our own domain and that always stays with us if we move and continue to pay for it. But if we are no longer Comcast customers that addie (Comcast) will go away.

Got the 'mators, peppers. basil and flowers covered as we might get a mild freeze overnight. I have too much $$ put into all of that. Need to get upstairs and put together the wardrobe for tomorrow. I have enjoyed civilian clothing but have to admit that I feel like a fish out of water sometimes and do not "fit" in. I guess that goes with the territory after wearing a uniform for 33+ years.

My work has been loosing officers left and right due to retirements in the last few years. They all have less years in than me but they by far have a more stressful job. The latest guy I highly respect. I grew up with him here in Itasca, went to grade school with him (knew his siblings also) and then we built our careers together. I have watched him get married, raise children, be a great dad, husband. He is loyal to his job and the community, he makes all of us laugh and is a source of entertainment and does not hesitate to make fun of himself (after he makes you the source of his humor - gotta love him). I am not exerating when I say that he probably knows or has come in contact with at least 3,000 (I think that is on the low side) people in the village (or connected to) that he has utilized to benefit the citizens/village as a whole. I guess that is why we all at the IPD call him "THE KING". Oh, at one time he had the "rank" of being called Cesar! We all will miss you, Rick B. sigh, tear rolling down the cheeks . . .
