Wednesday Roll Call

Good Morning on this great hump day.

Yesterday I was able to get the rest of my flowers in. Also had a great grilled chicken dinner. I was able to eat some chicken, and some twiced baked potatoe, but it was good.

Nothing happening today, just meeting friends for dinner.

Off to breakfast and knitting this morning. It's always nice to hang out with friends. I have some errands to do this afternoon and I have a shawl I'm hoping to finish today or tomorrow.

We leave Saturday for ***** Cana for a week, so I need to choose clothes and start to pack.

Hello everyone

I am happy the week is half over...yes I am looking forward to the weekend already. 

Yesterday was such a wonderful sunny day....so refreshing!!!  I am so glad that we can finally say good bye to the cold!!!  I still haven't got my package from Amanda.  I hope it isn't a case of it being stolen.  There is a problem of packages being stolen in Peru.  I hope not. 

Today after work I am going to do groceries and run some errands then come home workout and that's my day. 

Well have a nice and hopefully not too rainy day...see ya later...bye.

Good Morning Everyone!

I too am glad it is hump day!  I am ready for the week to be over as well. 

Today I am down after my dentist appt last night.  What he wants to do will cost about $15,000.00  I just dont have that kind of money nor do I want to borrow it considering I may not have a job in 6 months.  So I guess I am doomed to be toothless.  Sigh.  I am so tired of not being able to chew food.  It has been over 3 years that we have messed around with alternatives and nothing works. 

I am still on the ca****ch.  I will go to the visitation hours tonight to see if the cat is even there.  I have not heard back.  So am not sure if the cat is available or not. 

Also, I got home to no telephone services last night.  I am so tired of fighting AT&T.  They have given me such a run around.  They "accidently? " disconnected my service 1 week after installing it???  Yesterday was NOT a good day!

I am determined that today is going to be better!  So here is my smile! 

Shannon, I can remember being so tired of pureed foods and shakes.  My surgeon had me on them for almost 3 months.  She was so strict!  It is exciting to get new foods and textures!

Lisa, that is great that you were able to eat some chicken!  How exciting.

Crystal, I hop you get Amanda's present soon.  The anticipation has to be killing you.

Connie, I am jealous of all your travels.  It is great that you are able to go on these vacations.  Enjoy!

Happy Hump Day Y'all,

I am about to start a busy day. I am off to work-out this morning and then have to high-tail it home to get a tire for my husband's car. he had a blow-out on the Dan Ryan yesterday. praise God , he and everyone was safe.

Then I have to go to Glenview for a 2p appointment. Glenview sounds far..........

Hopefully the weather will be clear with all this driving I have to do.

We are leaving Sunday after church for NYC for our son's graduation. I still have to pack and get Wolfie groomed before we leave.

When I think of everything I need to get done, I freak, so I just take it one day at a time.

Good morning all. Took a walk around the block this morning and it felt good to get out of the house. Tomorrow I have to make the 2 1/2 hour trip to the dr so I can move onto pureed foods. Not looking forward to the long car ride but can't move on until I see him.

Where do you live and who is your doctor? My dr. is in Elk Grove Village, which is 2 hours away from me too.

Good morning Lisa and the rest of Illinois!

I am at work after a morning seminar on internet fraud by our bank.  It was interesting and this time, they had food I could actually eat like eggs and sausage.  Last time I attended a similar one, they had donuts and pastries and juice.  It was good information.

The porch is coming along.  I guess I should be posting pictures.  I really can't wait for it to be done.  I need you all to send good mojo Todd's way to help him see the neccesity of putting electrical outlets out there.  The retired electrician said he could put two weatherproof outlets in for about $ 125-$150. I think that is very reasonable and it would be SO handy for Christmas lights and lamps to read by.  I approved it, now Todd is trying to squa****  We will never do this job again and I want it done right!  It will add tons of value to the house.

David came over last night and we had a nice visit.  He even shaved!  Completely!  Instead of looking the 20 that he is turning today, he looks about 16.  Funny!

That's about it for me!
