Happy Mother's Day My Dear Ones!

My mama went to be with Jesus on 11/08/10. It was my honor to be her daughter. I miss her soooo much.

Yesterday I spent the day with my daughter, gand-babies and my son in law. It was such a nice day. We went to the zoo and had lunch outside. The rain never came in Brookfield so we had a perfect weather day at the zoo. My daughter is in therapy and it shows. I am blessed.

Today after church we are going to celebrate Mother's Day with my in-laws. I am cooking a ham dinner to take over there. Some adult cousins are in from Minnesota and it will be good to see them.

We are greeters this month at church so I have to get going early.

I am off to have coffee with the man I love.

Hello everyone

Yesterday was a good day.  I got so much done.  My plans for coffee fell through but that's OK.  I ended up having a nice evening talking on the phone.  I know I never talk on the phone.  I had a good workout.  I am continuing with my double workouts on the weekends.  It works really well for me.  I go to the gym and then come home and do the dvd.  It's challenging and I am a sweaty dripping mess but I feel good afterwards.   

Today I am going to Brenda's house and we are skyping Amanda and then we are having a nice dinner.  Then everyone will have a turn to talk to her.  They haven't been able to talk to her since Christmas.  So it's well over due.  I have my cakes ready for them.  I really am grateful for them.  If it weren't for them my Mother's Day would be a lonley sad event.  I did find out Amanda sent me a Mother's Day card anf gft but I guess it just hasn't reached me yet.  Amanda text me yesterday to ask me and then told me about it.  She said she wanted it to be a surprise but since it didn't get here on time she told me so I would know for mother's day.  Now I am wondering what she got me???

I am embarrassed for me and for my doctors residents.  The one actually taking out the staples made a point of saying now I can go through metal detectors.  Two days later it felt like I still had a staple on the lower right and sure enough all of the staples are still on that incision.

Sharon, like you and others, mine left on 11/12/1984 at the age of 65.

Randy, make sure you inform your doctor that his resident left a  staple.

We had a good visit yesterday with our kids for Mothers Day. Today just hanging out. I need to go out and water shortly. I am hoping to get into a pair of pants that I bought a year ago and out grew. Hopfully they now fit me.

For some reason his email form is not working so I left a message with the answering service.  Nice kid who did a good job but then missed the entire incision not just one staple.  I could say because it was in the flap but I think he had asked about it being so low earlier and my doc is chief of plastic so this will not go down well.

I want to wish all the Mothers a Happy Mothers Day.  My mom is gone as well.  She died Oct 14th 2007.  I miss her so much.  Especially our long talks and many outings.  She was such a fun mother as I became an adult! 

The cats have totally ignored that it is Mothers day but what can I expect from 6 furbodies who think I am there for their pleasure onely?    Gage called and wished me a Happpy Mothers day which touched me.  Rick is taking me out for dinner.  

It has been a laid back weekend which I really appreciated.  Not much happening which was good.

Happy Mother's day to all. As I am only 6days post op I am just relaxing today. My husband will be grilling out a little later for the kids and himself. Have a great day all.

My mother died on 2-3 2009 at the age of only 57...but she lived a fast life.  My dad followed 2 years later almost to the exact day. 

But as you know know regretfully we were never close.  So when I see sad posts about people mssing their moms...all I can think is how lucky they are to have a mom that they were close to.  I mean I loved my mom...but more because she was my mom and not because of the person she was or what she did for me.
