Saturday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Yesterday turned out to be such a blur at work. I ended up getting a huge payment to apply and it took all day to get the payment applied to the customer's account...because there were so many errors and there were 64 pages to the remittance!!! I stayed 2 hours after work to get this payment to balance. But it did make the day go by fast. Then I went did a few errands. I also baked a cake for mother's day. You know that is always a must when I am invited...hahaha!!!
Today I am working out and going to to Target and baking one more cake and of course I will clean. I am also meeting someone for coffee later today...I say coffee but I hate coffee. It's at Starbucks but I will have a green tea or something like that.
Lisa- the link is http://peashominyandquinoa.blogspot.com/...happy reading.
Nancy- Funny thing a lot times my TV is only on for background noise. I find I very rarely sit and watch TV anymore. I get to antsy now.
Sharon- I do hope you got a happy color on those toes and something boring...like a MINT GREEN!!!
You know I do my own pedicures lately. I find I do a better job (especially on my heels)...but nothing beats the relaxing feeling of someone doing one for you...ahhhh.
I am getting another package together for Amanda. Some of the requests for this box have been Fannie May candy, breakfast cereal, Cheetos, pantyhose, ponytail bands and this paper that you put in the sun and when you put something on it like a leaf...it will leave the image of the leaf on the paper. It's called Sun Paper. I of course threw some extra chocolate and other goodies. I send her a package like this only once every few months because it's so expensive. The last package cost me $60 to send.
Well I am going to relax and have some breakfast now...have a good day all..see ya later...bye
Happy Saturday.
Thank you Crystal for the Addy. Another thing you could send her would be Crystal Light packets.
We will be celebrating Mothers Day today at Annettes. They are smoking a turkey.
Yesterday I baked me a piece of Swai fish for dinner. It turned out so tender It almost melted in my mouth. I thought it was early for something like that, but the N.P. suggested it on Thuursday.
I really hate having to wear long sleeves and jeans in May. It is 52 now, with a high of 59 today. and Clouds!!!
Happy early Mothers Day.

Hugs,
Lisa- I would send her something like Crystal Light...but when it comes to drinks she's actually got it better than we do. The people she lives with have a tea garden and she has her pick of fresh tea plants, like chamomile (sp?) right out of the garden!!! Of course they have to be dried first but still how much fresher can you get than that!!! That was one of the first things she told me about when she moved there. If anything she should be sending that to me!!! Hahaha!!!
Hello My Friends,
Its hard to type and spoon feed Schnorri mango yogurt, but it is our morning ritual. He was my mom's cat and she did it for years. I used to tell her she was nuts, but now I find myself doing it. . He is a daily reminder of her. Happy Mother's day, Mama.I miss you.
Went and got a pedicure yesterday and had a 10 minute relaxing massage by this hot young dude from China. I did not know in Northern China the men are 6 feet tall. I got a geography lesson on Chinese regions from the hot guy who did my pedicure. I did not do mint green. But I did do Chick flick cherry.
I had such a taste for livers yesterday so I went to Browns and got 1/2 pound. OMG. delish.
Today I am going to Brookfield zoo with the babies and my daughter and son in law. I cannot wait to see them. Tomorrow I will be going to my in-laws for Mother's Day after church. Busy weekend.
We got our son's graduation pic from Columbia this morning. We could not be more proud.
Crystal, you sound like a detail person....a perfect fit for that job you have. I cant wait to hear how "coffee' went today.
Lisa, I have never heard of Swai fish. Where do you get it????
Everyone enjoy this day that the Lord has graciously given us.
Blessings,
Sharon
