Friday Roll Call

Ever have one of those nights where you feel like you have slept 8 hours and when you wake up only an hour has gone by? Then you wake up every hour on the hour? Weird night last night.

I am feeling refreshed this am in spite of the dreary skies.

I am going for a pedicure today and looking for a few pieces of clothing for our New York trip coming up. I have a few errands and then we have a special service tonight at church to celebrate our new building.

Yesterday, I went with Jimmy to the Italian American Club in Joliet. Once a month they have spaghetti night and it was delish. I had enough left overs to eat for a few days. For 8 bucks how can beat that?

Got two quizzes taken yesterday.  Today will be bringing a stop watch program in line with the grading rubric.

Had a nice day yesterday and don't have any significant plans for today. there's a book I want to read and this might be a nice day to curl up with a comforter and read. It looks like it might rain here. I'm really enjoying the spring flowers and trees--colors everywhere!

Good Friday Morning Everyone!

I love Fridays!  I wish every day could be Friday!  Wouldn't that be nice?  No work, just a pay check coming in.  

Today it is work and home.  We now have TV again!   I hate to say I miss the noise.  I only half watch it but I like having it. 

Chris, I am a little concerned when you stated you were changing your internet.  Did you have Uverse internet?  What issues were you having?

Sharon, I need a pedicure too.  Would you take my toes in and get them done with yours? 

Randy, a stop watch?  Do you have a time limit on your programs?

Connie, this is a perfect day to curl up with a book.  I did not want to get out of bed this morning.  Would have loved to stay home and read.

Crystal, what exciting plans are in store for your weekend?

We had E-Vergent out of Racine. They are a line of sight company. We had what looked like a satellite dish aimed towards Palatine. The trees are all too tall in the neighborhood and are blocking the signal. U-Verse is not an option. Our neighbors have had nothing but problems. We are too far from the central phone office for a good signal. We are switching to Comcast and bundled for a good price with our existing cable service.

Green ink today, to agree with all the green outside. It was a long winter, now everything is so fresh and renewed.

Sharon, I am going to take your advice and get seeds for my zinnias. After hitting every home store and nursery from here to the burbs, they are telling me the same thing. The growers haven't sent them yet.

I need a pedicure also, but my feet are in such a horrible state, I m not sure if if a pedi would help.

Connie, curling up with a book sounds great.

Nancy, enjoy your tv again. Even if you don'****ch that much, it is nice to have it when you want it.

Chris, I agree, using a smartphone for posting is hard.

Today I have a few errands to run, and a few things to do around here. Hopefully, everything will be done before noon.

I did see Dr. Hart yesterday, I am down 16# since 1 week before surgery. I am a happy camper. I knew I lost some, since I was able to get into a pair of capries yesterday that were a bit tight on me a few weeks ago. I am not going to be a slave to the scale. That is the worst thing to do. EVIL!!!
