Good To Be Back Home.
Today (05/06/2013) is the day that I came back home from being in the hospital for 4 days and in rehab for 24 days. The first 24 to 72 hours from a total knee replacement was tough, but I made it through. From then it was smooth sailing with a few bumps in the road, but I made it. In rehab and from doctor orders that I had to get my knee to measure between 100 and 110. When I started rehab my measurement on my left knee was a 75 from there it went to a measurement on 98, then 96 the back to 98 and stayed there for a little bit and as of this past Friday (May 3, 2013) my knee measured at 101 and that got my ticket to go home and as this morning (May 6, 2013) on my last PT (physical therapy) are a review on what to do with my workout at home on what kind of workouts for my left knee and the PT person measured my knee one more time and my measurement went from 101 to a 104. I am so happy. Now I guess I'm going to wait to hear from a visiting nurse to call to let me know when my visiting nurse will start to visit me. Overall, I'm happy with my new knee. I just can't wait to get my other knee done and both of my hips done.

Welcome home from surgery and recuperation! I am glad that all went well. It is great to hear you talking about doing the other knee. That is a sign that you like your new knee. I was so sure you would not regret it. It is nerve racking to anticipate it but the results are amazing!
Keep up the good work! It sounds like you are getting great measurements!
