I got a 92 in one of my Python classes so I earned a certificate but still need to learn those other 8 points to get over the hump in how to implement instances of data structures and access them based on an event.

If the weather breaks this afternoon I would like to go to a BBQ but not sure I am quite ready for that.

What's up wit ya, Illinois?

Have a few furniture rearranges btwn the family room to the 3 season room for this morning. A couple years ago we bought a recliner unit from Lazy Boy that Dave has never really cared for. We still have our other two recliners in the 3 season room and we are going to flip flop them. This evening we are going to Elgin to see Late Night Cathecisim at the parish school where we were married many moons ago. Hopefully there will be a lot of people there because this "parody" play is an audience participation event. I have seen it before and it was really funny plus having grown up Catholic adds more to the humor of it.

You guys be careful.  I need to build two large room separating cabinet units and buy two arm chairs but cannot get myself to pull the trigger on those.

Actually, I had most of the pieces moved by the time Dave got up. The unit is all linked together with a table unit/draws piece in the middle. After I figured out how to unlink them (I was not here when they were deilvered) and put them back together it was a piece of cake. They did need to be turned on their sides to get through the door way. The other two recliners backs come apart from the base so it is easy to move.

While doing that this morning I had 3 male Orioles at my hummer feeders, sucking up the nectar. I will post a couple of pics later.

Very familiar with those K clips for the backs.  Easier with two people so you do not knock the first back into a locked position while getting the second out.

There really isn't a clip for the backs with La-z-Boy. The back just slides right up from the base. There are two brackets that slip together for assembly. One just needs to align both brackets so they join together. It might take a couple of times to get them to go together especially if you have not moved them recently for cleaning under or other things.

There are clips for the unit that was moved to the 3 season room but they are really simple with the aligning and then clicking into place. The three sectons just went click, click, click.

Hello everyone

Well I went to see my band doctor yesterday for the first time in well over a year.  He was so impressed and excited with how I am doing he gave me a big hug.  Which was unexpected but sweet.  He asked if I felt as good as I looked...and I said well I'm  not sure how good I look but I feel pretty good compared to how I used to feel at 354 lbs.  I also lost 2 lbs since my doctor appointment 1 1/2 week ago...which was nice to see.  He said you realize you are literally half the person you used to be?   And I stopped and thought about it and he was right I finally hit the half way point...I'm 1/2 of 354 lbs.  He then said can you imagine carrying someone that weighs as much as you around with you all of the time...and I said "no, no wonder I was tired all of the time" and we both laughed.  He then check my band under fluoro and all look fine and dandy.  I am sooo blessed in that department.  Because I lost 42 lbs since my last appointment he did give me a little fill...just a little he said.   When you lose weight you lose fat around your organs too...including your stomach.  This can loosen the band and cause slippage.  So he tweeked me a bit.

I am also only 9 lbs from goal weight!!!  I can't believe it 9 lbs!!!  I was so sure I would never get to this point.  When I reach this goal I will be considered normal weight by the BMI chart.  I will no longer be overweight when I reach his goal!!!  Yeah!!!

Well last night was a weird night.  I fell sleep at 7 and woke up at 12 and then I couldn't go back to sleep!!!  What the heck is that???  I was feeling a bit tired and laid down just to rest and then the next thing I know it's 5 hours later and I can't sleep anymore!!!  So now I have to make sure I don't do that again tonight!!!

Today other than cleaning and working out I have no plans. Maybe that will change???

Have a good day all...see ya...bye

If you had the ice cream this was likely your body waking you up to say your insulin level had finished processing those sugars and wanted more to balance it out.

Not trying to discourage the ice cream eating though.  Myself I am fearing seeing Blue Bell in the freezers here.  For many of us who ended up morbidly obese while not being lazy or undisciplined this basic imbalance in our Kreb's cycle is the reason.  Sugars, insulin and adrenaline are all tied up in this cycle.

Happy Saturday,

We have no plans for today or tomorrow. I think it will be a quiet weekend. I do have a few things to do here in the house, but who doesn't.

Hubert wants some chili made. That will be on my agenda today. This will probably be the last time until fall.

I may go and get the rest of the flowers today. We will see.

I hope everyone has a great day,

Hugs,

Lisa
