Wednesday Roll Call
Where is everyone?
Happy May Day Illinois!
I think I need to get some flowers at lunch.
I am at work then planning on going to the airport to check out the job......why not?
Yesterday was so nice I got out to walk both at lunch and after work. Problem is......the ankle did not really agree. I am hoping it just needs to strengthen up a bit. It has been a year since I came back to work after the break and surgery. That should be long enough.
I am already looking forward to Friday and the weekend. Liv, 2 of her friends and I have appointments at the beauty school on Saturday. They are all getting the "Queen for a Day" special and I am getting a cut and color. They have to be to the high school for the Grand March by 4 pm. It will be a busy day. It is also Liv's birthday! She is really growing into a lovely young woman.
That's about it for me. What are y'all doing?
Good afternoon.
I had to go to Bloomigton this morning. Monica had minor surgery on her shouder yesterday, and she wasn't suppose to drive, so I went down and took her to P.T.
I was able to find 2 pairs of sandals. I probly didn't need 2 pair, but we are cruising again next spring, so, if I don't need them now, I will next spring.
I am sure you and Liv and Liv's friends will have a blast on Saturday. Prom is so important to the girls.
I am going to rest for a bit, then we are meeting friends for supper at Cracker Barrel. I will have a choice of soup or mashed potatoes.
Have a great afternoon,
Hugs,
LISA
I guess everyone was busy like myself with home, work and other things in their lives. I was a "car jockey" for work today, walked back and forth attending to things at work, rode home from work at lunch to clean my hummer feeders as I found out that they are close by in Glen Ellyn - earlier than last year (I wanted to make sure they have fresh food), got back to work and had other caca to put up with. Now I am home and am going out to plant some flowers and see what I can do to ready a couple of my square veggie boxes for the plants.
Hate to say it but my AC is on for the night. Won't need it for the next few days. No cross ventilation in this house so it gets real hot even with the doors and windows closed. It is 78 in here already.

I am home. Northwestern is a lot less frustrating than most hospitals when you are in them. It did take a while to get through to the surgical people that I was looking for hernia repair not a follow up on RNY. Then I still ended up seeing one of the guys who does the GB's who took one look at my abdomen and sent me to a plastic surgeon that is excellent.
Hello everyone
I had a bad day...but I didn't let it get me down. i still joked around and enjoyed the weather.
I dressed very Summery today. But tomorrow I have to dress up, corporate is coming for a visit. So we are on our best behavior. I have to dress in regular work clothes, rather than my normal jeans, shirt and gym shoes. It's a wonderful thing working here.
So I hope everyone got and enjoyed the weather some how. I hope you enjoyed wearing your Summer clothes. It's back to your normally scheduled weather...
See ya later gators...bye
