Sunday Roll Call
Had B-Fast, for a walk, spray painted "yard waste" on some cans for yard waste PU, working on the 4th load of laundry with three of them almost dried on the line outside. The towels are in washing right now and I am going to take advantage of the breeze to dry them. I love laundry dried on the line and am looking into buying a four sided permanent pole for outside. I already have a tri-pod drying system for the basement during the winter. Caught up with my family that has been displaced from the flooding in Ingleside (close to Fox Lake, IL).
Will be out in the 3 season room soon to dust and vacuum the winter away and to quasi enjoy the outside as our room is 3 sided with windows floor to ceiling. Need to pick up the flood debree that I raked a couple of hours ago in the front of the house. Have my hummer feeders up and am looking forward to seeing them hover over them soon. You need to have them out early to attract the "scouts". I follow a migration map website and the last sighting that is getting close is in a town close to Bloomington, IN - so they are on their way. Hope to see some males this year as I only had females last year.

On the north/west side of Duck Lake. You take the 59 cut off from 12 and it is in the Knollwood subdivision. My nephew John Annarella was interviewed on ABC7 Chicago after the rain (Thursday). He, his wife and son live next to his sister and her husband. I think my neice and her husband are going to loose their house. Her brother, John sits a little higher. SIGH.

Hello Everyone!
I missed yesterday. That was because I spent most of the day away from home. After I woke up I had brunch then went and scoped out all of the flooding and then went and had my last iron transfusion. I am now done with those. Yeah! Today I have a sore hand from the IV they used. I also have a couple other false start spots but they don't hurt like the IV one does. The IV one is swollen. Sigh.
After my infusion, I went shopping and got groceries and ran errands. Then home and unloaded the cold stuff and put it away. Talked to Rick on the phone and used the speaker phone so the cats could talk to him. They really miss him. Mitzi is beside herself. Poor little girl. Even Fluffer misses him and he hardly pays attention to him.
Today I am putzing around the house. No special plans. I am thinking about Lisa. Usually you get to come home on the third day so she may be coming home today. That will be a LONG ride home! I remember hitting every bump in the road and just wanting a bed. Funny how those memories come back.
I hope everyone is having a good day!
