Hello everyone

I had a post all written out yesterday and then when I posted all I got was a error message from OH.  Then I just didn't have time to repost after that.

The past few days I have been staying late at work because I have that project again, where I have to update the union pay rates.  Well I started this on Tuesday and had a bit of an issue when I lost 2 hours of work when my Excel just closed for no reason.  I have been coming in early and staying late, because these things always need to be done ASAP when get to me.  Then when I get home it's always a rush to get my workout in before it gets too late...ugh.  I always have to wonder about some people who say they don't time for workouts...because I have worked up to 11 hours and managed to get a workout in and still make my dinner...and I even did groceries after work yesterday too (after working 10.5 hours).  I always tell people if your determined enough you will workout...you will make it happen.  I made a yummy turkey burger....what I do is season them, put a little shredded cheese and then cover and BAKE them (instead of pan frying...I think they are juicier my way).  And I used 1/2 of a tortilla for a bun...I need to use them up.

I finally got a a copy of my allergy tests via online.  I don't know how to read them.  And wheat and eggs aren't even on the list???  I am so confused.  I will have to bring this to my next appointment or find someone that knows how to read the test.  Some of the words I didn't know what they were but I looked them and they were dust and mold...they don't say dust and mold...the say some really long words.  I want to see specifically what items I am most allergic to...and take steps to avoid those.  I am thinking there are some I am just a little allergic to...and some I am HIGHLY allergic to...those are the ones I want to focus on.  There are also some things listed that she didn't mention...like roaches...does that mean I'm not that allergic to them??  I don't know I have so many questions.

Oh and I wanted to mention...when I went to the craft show I bought this organic stuff for your sinuses.  It's like Vicks.  Well I have to say its been a real help.  I can really feel the difference.  I should have tried a natural cure earlier.  I am all for natural...and why I didn't try sooner.  I put a little on my chest and on my upper lip and it opens me up a little...and every little bit helps.

Today I have nothing going on but more work and more overtime and more working out.  I am doing the P90X and I tell you...that thing is kicking my butt (nothing like this DVD to show you how out of shape you are).  That is it for me...how about you???

Time for me to get going.  Have a wonderful day all...see you later...bye.

Revision on 04/19/13

Good Morning,

For a while last night, I thought we were going to float away with the rain. I don't know how much we got, but it was coming down hard. I think we are to get more today.

Nothing on the agenda for today except to go get the yearly mamo.

Tomorrow, we have to leave the house by 6 a.m. to get me to Alexian Bros. for my pretesting, before revision. Then a late afternoon Dr. visit.

Have a great day,

Hugs,

Lisa

Good morning all!

Not a whole lot to report today.  I am going to East Dundee to buy a new bread knife.  I bought a bread slicing guide, but my current bread knife is too short for it.  So off I go.  Baking bread is a wonderful thing!  And since I am milling my own wheat, it means that the carbs are all complex and good for everybody!  My daughter asked for bagels so I was up late making the dough.  They need to sit overnight in the fridge to get the right texture, so we will have bagels for the weekend.  I really love that my kids are getting into this whole wheat stuff.  Last night we had tocos for dinner with homemade wheat tortillas and the kids were fighting over who got the extras!

BTW, I have a very nice guitar I m trying to sell to raise some money.  If anybody knows anybody who might be interested, please let me know.  I won't go into details here but it is an $850 dollar guitar that I am asking $350 for.

Have a great day!

Paul. I'm with Nancy your bread sounds wonderful. Though I just found out I have a wheat allergy but now I wonder because I don't see it on my list. I would be great if it was a miscommunication and I don't have a wheat allergy Then I could partake in your bread.

Good Morning Everyone!

Another dreary day out there!  I am with Lisa, there were times yesterday I thought we would float away.  Our office is a steel building so when it rains, it is really loud and when it storms you feel like you are about to be blown away.

Today is starting out so well --- NOT   I did not sleep well last night.  I got to work and realized that I left my water at home.  cheeky It is going to be a LONG day.

Paul, I have my fingers crossed that you get this job.  Why you have not been snapped up is amazing.  You have so many talents and so much to offer.  Your home made bread sounds great!  What do you use to grind your wheat with and where do you get the wheat?

Lisa, safe travels tomorrow.

Crystal, I still say you are an amazing woman.

Everyone have a great day!

Good morning wet ones!

I was watching the weather last night thinking of family in Arkansas, Missouri and southern IL. Really scary. So far everyone is OK. Today and tomorrow are supposed to be rainy with Saturday the only sunny day for a while. The birds seem to be enjoying it, my backyard is full today. The goldfinches are bright again and the red belly is awaiting his turn at the suet. Robins are spashing in puddles.

I have a haircut later, but not much else planned. I'm reading an interesting book called "Gulp--a journey down the alimentary canal".It's a funny explanation of what food does in the body and since that's a major to concern to us, I thought the book would be interesting!

Have a great day1

A day of virtual and real world Pythonistic endeavors for me.  The next five days have real world things going on so it will be a challenge to get the virtual exercises completed by deadlines.  I guess I should concentrate on the ones with deadlines today.

Good afternoon Crystal and the rest of Illinois!

I am at work, but have told my boss that I am dealing with some issues and will not be working the full 40 hours.  I have decided that my health and sanity are more important than this job.  I told them that I may be late, leave early and take long lunches.  The long lunches are for AA meetings.  I have been taking a half an hour lately, but to go to a meeting requires 1.5 hours.  I went to one at lunch today, even though I drank last night.  I think I will be leaving early today to attend another one since I have to work at the airport tonight.

Right now, that is all that is happening for me.

Thank you ALL so much for the kind words and support.  I REALLY appreciate it.

Tell someone that you love them!

Dawn,

I recall taking long lunches once a week to see my therapist when I worked for the Evil One. He did not know where I was going, but he made my life miserable on the day I would leave and be gone an extra 1/2 hour. I learned to not alert him to the actual day I would be late because inevitably he would think of some random excuse for me not to go. I look back and feel the stress start to seep into me just revisiting those times. No wonder I gained 100 lbs working for him. I would abuse carbs and then go to therapy and sob for being such a weakling. I FEEL YOUR PAIN.

Hang in there Dear One.

Hugs,

Sharon
