Paul

It is great to "see" you again!  We are still hanging out together.  We have added some people but always have room for "old" friends..  Come visit again!  Also let us know who your friend is so we can be sure to look out for her!

Thanks Nancy!  I will post an introduction for my friend once she feels comfortable and gives me the go ahead.  You know how it works!  But my friend is a wonderful person who will not only get a lot from our little family here, but will bring a lot to all of us as well.  Stay tuned!

Paul, Good to hear from you. I wondered what might have happened to you. I went from band to RNY 18 mo ago. Wish I had done that in the first place!

Good morning all!  It has been many many many moons since I've been on the board so I thought it was time to come visit.  Several years ago my lap band became twisted to the point that I could no longer drink water!  So it was removed and my insurance said that since I was no longer over weight, I no longer qualified for a replacement.  So I have been band free for several years now.  I am up 40 pounds but that is less than half of the weight I originally lost and I am holding very steady.  I am working hard now to improve my eating habits and have recently started learning Tae Kwon Do.  That requires a very vigorous workout twice a week and I feel this will help me to start loosing weight again.

I was recently talking to a friend in the neighborhood, and she has asked me to help her connect to resources to learn about weight loss surgery.  Being a huge believer in setting up a support structure BEFORE having the surgery, I am going to lead her to this site to get herself with folks that can help support her.  I will also help her toward doctors, meetings, web sources, etc...

It is great to see some familiar names still posting!

Have a great day!

Paul

Paul, Paul, Paul - Dave and I just talked about you (lovingly) on Saturday and I have often thought of you over the years.

Tax calculations will have to wait.  Coding quality Python code progamming assignment had me tuckered out by 5 pm yesterday so I will be back at it today.

Only planning to get out once this week except for some fun bike riding.  Later I will want fenders,  a rack and saddle bags for it.

Good Rainy morning IL,

I got the job I wanted, and have been doing the training at the corp. office, this along babysitting has kept my mind and body busy.

We went to a Ice Hogs game last night, and they played a great game, and even won, today back to Janesville for more training, tomorrow I have a physical for work, sure hope I can pass it, I am told they put you through the wringer. I asked one of the trainers on Friday if anyone has failed, he said not that he knew of, I am afraid I might be the first., I. am not very fit, and have a lot of pain in back, neck and shoulders. The only test I will pass for sure is the TB testangry

I am going to read a few post and then off to Janesville., hope everyone has a great day and stay dry

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Good morning Nancy and the rest of Illinois!

I am back to work, only late.  I did not really feel like getting up so early this morning, so I didn't.  I got in about 10.  I am seriously thinking of going on the 4 day work week, especially for the summer.  Life is too short to hate your job every day.

Liv and wrapped lime green "Fun fur" yarn around wreath bases then Riley and I dolled them up with daisies for some really cute SPRING wreaths.  I always have some sort of project when Riley is around.  They are really cute, I got the idea from Pinterest.

The contractor came by yesterday and we will be having the front porch re-done soon.  I am SO excited!  It is going to be done in a PVC material that is guaranteed for life.  Will never have to paint, scrape, etc.  The decking will be a chestnut color and the railings will remain white.  I will post pics when it is done.  Maybe I can host the next pot-luck.......that is if you all don't mind driving to the boonies.

SO GOOD to see PAUL!  I for one, have missed you bunches!  We will be happy to support your friend.

Gotta get back to it!  Everyone have a wonderful day!
