Sunday Roll Call

I take carbonated drinks and pour them back and forth into another glass until the fizzing stops. Takes about ten times. If I want one at home I open the can in the morning and leave it in the fridge till afternoon and it's pretty flat by them. I especially like Sierra Mist. It tastes just as good flat as fizzy. I don't like cola products this way, though.

Good morning friends,

No newspaper today so I read it online. That is NOT my favorite way to read the paper. My cold has moved into my chest a bit so no more headache, thank goodness. I can deal with coughing much better than having all my teeth hurt and my eyes with spikes in them! I guess it's good to be positive about something! I was a unhappy camper last night.

I'm enjoying the sun today and might even go outside (shock!). I'm also working on a very complicated knitting pattern that I'd like to finish today in the daylight because the yarn in dark. It's hard to see in the evening. I'll post it when I fini**** It's a knit-a-long and I won't get the last part of the pattern till Friday.

That's about all that is going on here. I have my appointment in Madison tomorrow with Dr. Garren. That's always a good time!

Good Afternoon Everyone!

It is another nice day out today.  Yesterday went by in a whirl and today is promising to do the same.  I have to go to the grocery store and Gizmo got a birthday certificate from Pet Smart this week so I though I would take him up and let him pick out his present.  That should be a trip!  .  Pet Smart encourages you to bring your animals so we will give it a try.  

Last night was the annual auction benefit for our animal shelter.  Of course I went and spent money!  Besides an outright donation I got a beautiful orchid and a unique hand painted spaghetti bowl that has a cat painted on it.  Both were popular items so I paid a lot for them but it is for a good cause.  I hope we made a lot of money.  

I also need to go to the grocery store so today is not for resting.

Randy, I always get a kick out of kids when they are around.  Their innocence and excitement is so endearing.  

Lisa, I find the flavorings in the coffee aisle of Walmart.

Crystal, you have had a really fun weekend.  Enjoy your wine tasting! 

Sharon, you have my sympathies on having to give Wolfe oral meds.  That is a job and a half.  I am surprised that the vet was not able to force urine out.  our's have always been able to obtain urine samples.

Connie, I hope you feel better soon.  I Hate colds!
