Hello everyone

It's Friday!!!!  Yeah!!!  Not as nice outside as yesterday but still nice enough.

I did have a nice walk yesterday.  We walked for the full 30 minutes...and it was a fast paced walk.

Today after work I am going out with some friends to one of those dinner theater places.  We are going to The Oz movie.  I never been to one of those dinner movie places, so this is new.  It's in Wheaton.  Then afterward we are supposed to stop off at some place to hang out.  Then on my way home I want to pick up some things I forgot at Walmart earlier in the week.  How is your day looking.

Well got to get going and finish getting getting ready...have a good day all...see ya later...bye.

Happy Friday Everyone!

I cant wait until 3;30 AND then I am out of here.  Our system is down again this morning.  So hand writing our calls is the way we will start our day.  surprise  This weekend I HAVE to do my taxes.  I cant put it off any longer.  Why I procrastinate I will never know.

It is going to be in the upper 60's on Saturday!  I am so excited.  I have had a window open every afternoon this week.  I got my iron transfusion last night.  It went better than last week.  Only one needle poke and I was set.

Crystal, I have never heard of a dinner movie place.  That sounds interesting.  Have fun.

Everyone have a great day!

this is the place I'm going...I have a groupon coupon so it's only costing $5 for the movie

Hola Chicas and Ombres!

A group of us went to Senor Tequila in Joliet  last night and had a blast. They have authentic delicious mexican fare. I was the designated driver but i splurged and had a club soda with lime. It is my first fizzy drink since the surgery. It was so good. Why again can we not have carbonated drinks?

I managed to get some things done yesterday. I cleaned my oven and washed 4 loads of spring/summer clothes and got rid of some more fat clothes. I cleaned out my closet and moved the winter stuff out and the spring/summer stuff in. Most of the tops and capris are huge on me. I guess I have to start looking for a smaller size. I went to JC Penneys a few weeks ago and was surprised at their prices; very cheap and very nice stuff. I have a $10.00 off coupon so I may hit them this afternoon. My honey took today and Monday off and who knows where that will take us? He is still being good and working out and I am very proud of him.

I am so happy for this warmer weather. Just the sunshine makes me feel more human. I just cannot wait to get into my garden. I may make it back there this weekend if it's nice enough. I hope we have a spring and dont go right into summer. I love spring so much.

Crystal, we have gone to the dinner/movie at the Promenade in Bolingbrook and a trip to the movies in Lemont. I like Trip to the movies better because you can pick your own seat. At the other one it is designated seating. I prefer being in the back of the theater. But all seats are good ones. The popcorn has real butter. It is a nice experience. Enjoy!

Nancy I know 3:30 p cant come fast enough.

Connie, I hope you are feeling better.

Lisa, I think you are getting some well deserved rest after a whirlwind week. Enjoy this time.

Dawn, Enjoy Riley. Our babies grow up so fast.......

Randy, enjoy your new mode of transportation. I realized I need to get my bike down from the wall in my garage. No speeds, just and old fashioned bike. Enjoy!

Jason, you are in my thoughts and prayers. You are going to have a perfect surgery next week and this too shall pass.

Blessings and Hugs my dear ones,

Sharon

Sharon-  I love JC Penney...I got the same $10 coupon.  I have to go look around and see what they have for Summer clothes.  It will be the Summer I can shop in the Juniors department....since Amanda was a toddler.

When I go to the dinner movie thing...I plan on having dinner...not popcorn.  You can have popcorn at any theater.  I want the novelty of eating dinner while watching a movie...hahaha!!!!

Hey Sharon!

I do not know about the sleeve, but it may be similar to RNY and (I think also) the band.  Carbonation expands.  try this experiment:

Pour something fizzy into a ziplock bag.  Push most of the air out of the bag.  Set it on the counter.  Watch what happens.

Over use of carbonation will expand and stretch the pouch, with is NOT a good thing.

Tell someone that you love them!

Getting to really like the brown line.  Easy access at Chicago to a Walmart that carries most of my Wal-Mart stuff.

Right at the Mercantile Mart.

Right at Lincoln Square.

Circles the loop and let's me off right at or close to a lot of stuff on Wabash.

Quick trip home on the 80 late in the evening.

Need to get a new seat, pump, lock and helmet so I have to get ready and get out of here.

May also go to Aldi today.

Taxes next week.  Have to add up four months I was still in business.

This was another morning waiting for Apria to come swap out my apap.

They did not come all day yesterday or give a reason why but the therapist today told me the other therapist serving Chicago had to get his car repaired yesterday.  Not sure why he could not call and tell me that.

21 days to surgery.

Randy

So you have been forgiven?

Oh Randy I love the Merc and I adore Lincoln Square. Have you ever visited that amazing food store in the square that is 2 levels, Gene's Sausage Shop? I recall going to the previous establishment there as a child  with my mom and nobody spoke English only German.  OMG, the cat's meow. If I won the lottery, that's where i would live...in Lincoln Square in one of those condos right on Lincoln Ave across the street from the Chicago Brau Haus. I'd eat a fresh pretzel for breakfast every morning with my coffee and a bowl of liver dumpling soup every day for lunch. YUM. I also love the Merz Apothecary. I get all my rehabilitative teas from there to fix all my ailments. I also alway**** the Timeless Toys and pick up d=something unique for my grand-babies.

The Square is where I go for the summer concerts on Thursday nights in the summer....sublime.

Boy, I think I will make a trip up there today. I love just walking around up there.

Thanks for the memories........

Hugs.

Sharon
