Happy hump day everyone!

The week is half over!

Not much going on in my corner of the world today.  Just work and home.  I ran by Walmart last night to discuss the things I did not get home with on Sunday that were in my cart.  Somehow they never got rung up so I picked them up again.  What happened to them is anyone's guess.

Right now, life is just nice and steady.  Hopefully it remains that way.  It is a little on the boring side with nothing exciting happening but then again I am not running myself to death.  So no complains.

I had to laugh last night.  Fluffer is definitely a new cat since he got his haircut.  He was laying in a cat bed and Smokey decided he wanted that bed.  He tried to fight Fluffer and get him to move but Fluffer was having no part of moving and fought back.  In the past he would have darted off.  In the end, Fluffer won the battle and it was Smokey who was the one that went away with his head hanging down.  Too funny.    Oh I just love my home entertainment system!

Everyone have a great day!

Nancy-  When that happened to me and I forgot things at Walmart.  I went in the next day...and I did have the receipt.  They called security and they went and watched the security tape from the night before and recalled the time I was in line and they could see what I left behind.  And I actually left behind one item more than I thought.  I forgot about one thing.  So they have it down to a science by me.

My WalMart Sucks when it comes to customer service.  They would only review the receipt and tell me those items were not scanned.  Shrug.

Good morning!

Nancy, I just love the things cats do! You just never know what will happen. We had a tiny 5 lb cat that knocked over a big wingback chair! And another who unraveled the front of a sweater that I was knitting and made a huge "spiderweb" in the living room with the yarn. I almost killed that one! I was furious. Now it's funny.

I had a bad experience with dumping last night due to a bad choice. I still don't feel good. And then I woke up with a sore throat which is a whole new thing. My throat feels kind of "thick". I guess I won't be going to knitting today. I planning on this not developing into something icky.

Have a good day. I'll beyes

Connie-  I kind of agree with Sharon...there are times when I wish there was something more to stop me from "bad" behavior.  Something more extreme than what I have now.  Of course nothing really stops me now but willpower.  I can eat whatever I want I just can't eat a whole package of cookies in one sitting...but I can still eat enough to wreck my day in one sitting!!!

I'm still in my "chasing my tail" mode. Having lots of ideas but not much coming to fruition. I used to dream of all the things I would do if I had the time...........but now I am in stuck mode. Just dont want to be in reverse mode........

Randy, I love your short but sweet texts. Right to the point.

Nancy, I love watching my 3 boy cats maneuver every situation. They all have such distinct personalities and it is always fun to see which one will prevail. Lately, Schnorri has been waking me up hourly after 1am  to play. I dont have the heart to be mean so I just roll over and hide and fall back asleep.

Connie, it sounds like maybe your throat may be reacting to GERD from yesterday? I HATE that. I know this sounds awful but I wish my body had the dumping thing. I had something once early after my journey, but not since. I think it would help me stay focused and on program.

Hope everyone else is doing ok.

I'm off to look for a juicer on Amazon. I am thinking of a Breville. I want to eat more raw and juicing may be the answer.

Have a great day Peeps!

hugs,

Sharon

Sharon- Your juicer hunt reminds that I need to get a food processor.  I am getting close to the end of my stock of cleaning supplies...I am getting excited to make my own!!!  I am going to go to New Uses to buy a food processor...since I am not going to use it for food...I am going to buy used.  I am never to sure about buying used appliances...I worry about the former owners and what kind of germs there might be in there and I'm eat the food...from the same place they made food....well you know.

Good Morning,

I am off to Walgreens this morning, to get my pictures printed up. Then to Walmart for a robe. The one I have is old, I mean like 20 years old, so I am going to treat myself to a new one.

I start my 2 week pre-op liquid diet on Friday. Now I need to get some plain yogurt, and sugar free popcycles. It should be interesting.

We had 2 female cats for over 18 years, they were funny. Whenever Hubert would decide to wrap coins, our one would position herself on the table, and scoot coins over to herself.  It was funny when she would knock the coins he would stack over. He would finally tell her that was it, and he would move her off the table. O course, she would move herself back on it.

The other would only drink water out of the tub. We would let it drip for her.

We are going out with friends tonight. I have decided I won't be going for the next 6 weeks or so. But, i want Hubert to go. It would temp me to break the diet.

Connie, i hope you aren't coming down with something.

Sharon, I know how you feel. There is always tomorrow to get things done.

Have a nice sunny day,

Hugs, LISA

Lisa-  Oh I do hope you got yourself a really nice robe.  I always wanted to splurge and buy a really nice robe but I never do.  There is this one I saw once it was so soft it was like a cloud...but it was $80!!!  Man would I love something like....maybe if I won the lottery.
