Tuesday Roll Call

Hello everyone

I have to leave in a little bit.  I have another early day because of the the way things went yesterday.  I figure it works out for me, I get more overtime.  Hopefully things are a little more organized today.

Today I have nothing going on but work and working out.  I have a crockpot meal going for tonight...but what else is new.  I love my crockpot.  What do you guys have going on today?

I am getting happier about the weather...we are starting to see nicer and nicer weather.  I see later this week it will be nice.

Today I have to sign up to become a distributor of Usana vitamins. I've been taking them for a month and decided to start selling them. Sales is not my thing, but i get them a tiny *****eaper and I figure we will be taking them forever so what the heck?

I also have a few errands to run and my chores.I used to spring clean in a week now it takes me a month. LOL.

I am in a bad rut and hope to get back to the pool in the next 2 days or so. I need to get back into the water. I HATE working out on land. I like the machines but cardio is sooooooooooooo boring on land. I also miss the gals in my aerobics class. 

I have house-group tonight and some reading to do.

Sharon-  It's good you found something you enjoy.  You should go back to it if you can.  I haven't really found anything I like I just stick to the grind...and that's what it feels like.

I will be heading up to Hoffman later today to pick up 2 bags of meal replacement from the Kane Center.I also need to finish some stuff left over from yesterday.

Otherwise. it will be a quieter week. I also need to edit the pictures that we took last week, so i can get them in and get them printed.

It is cold, but sunny. Maybe next week will start our spring for good.

Good Morning Everyone!

It is another beautiful day!  We are getting closer to that wonderful spring weather that I love.  I will take every day under 90 degrees that I can get!  Yesterday was a pretty good day at work for me.  The clients were pretty decent and I got a raise!  So it was a good day.  And no the raise was not an April fools joke.  It just happened to be the day that they discussed it with me.

Today we will see what surprises are in store.  When I first got here are system was down so it looked like we were going to hand write all our interactions and enter them in later.  That is always a nightmare.    But it came up before I got my first call. 

Lisa, I am so excited for you!  The next few weeks will disappear in a blink!  It sounds like you did a lot on your vacation!  I agree that the grand canyon is awesome. 

Crystal, you are a glutton for punishment.  You work too hard.  Your employer is extremely lucky.

Connie, I hope you are enjoying your day.

Dawn,  how was your trip?  Did Liv fall in love with any of the colleges?

Sharon, I hope you are starting to feel better. 

Randy,  I hope you are feeling good.  Any news for a surgery schedule?

Weather changes do me in.  Time changes do me in.  Lots of small pains all over last night.  Kept having cravings as well.  Up from 12 to 3 am.  Good that I could sleep in.  Bad that I did.  Likely really excited that I am going to 600 W Chicago today.  I have been wanting to see that building and there is a Meetup there today with Hosted by Groupon.  Then the hack tonight will have folks building alternate CTA trip planners so the day proves to be a fun one for this geek.  My energy has been taking a nose dive about 7:30 every night so maybe also my body is trying to free run again when it comes to sleep.  Then too, yes Nancy, there is that surgery scheduled.  No word on the reading of the cat scan.  I will need to schedule a talk with the anesthiesiaoligist and have told them to call me if any earlier dates open.

I dont know if it's the weather change, the sugar I am eating, or my old bod, but lately I can barely turn over in bed from all the pain in my mid back. I started taking advil, something I try to stay away from, but it helps take the edge off.

Is Advil ok for the sleeve?  I took it once about fifteen years ago for a pain and ended up in surgery that night.

I have had no probs with Advil. I dont take it often. But the surgeon ok'd it 90 days after my surgery last year. Cheers, Sharon

Good morning!

I finished picking up the house this morning so it can be cleaned. Think I'll go to the Bookworm while the cleaning lady is here. Yesterday did some reading and then went to CVS to pick up a prescription. They are back to giving a 90 day refill for two co-pays. It only took the State of IL 2 or 3 years to arrange this again! Oh well! They also had Nature Made vitamins on a BOGO sale. The multis and B complex are both in mini sizes now, easier to swallow. If you use that brand there's a website that gives $7. coupons when you buy a certain number (you get points). Getting points for things, hotels, airlines, vitamins is one of my favorite tricks. It's amazing what I get!
