Happy Easter Roll Call
Hello everyone
Happy Easter all...
Oh I miss the days when Amanda was little and we dyed eggs and we would set them out for the Easter bunny to hide. And she would wake up all excited to find her basket and eggs. I know it is usually customary to have ham for Easter but I don't like ham so I always did a roast beef. Part of me can't wait till Amanda has kids so we can't restart some of these traditions again. By the way I did an Easter basket for Amanda every year for her except this one. I feel you are never too old for an Easter basket. A lot of Amanda's friends always thought she was lucky because most of them stopped getting baskets. I kept giving her baskets just changed what was in them. Like one year she was really into Edgar Allen Poe...so I got her a really nice leather bound collection of poems...put it in a basket with chocolate....see never too old for a basket. The reason I do this is because my grandma always gave me a basket every year till she couldn't anymore....she even gave my grandpa a basket. And I thought I'm doing the same thing!!!!
I had a good time with laser tag yesterday. I have two tips for anyone that decided to ever go. Wear dark colors (light colors literally glow) and wear a tshirt. I was so sweaty when I was done. I can only say I would have never been been able to enjoy this a few years ago when I was heavier and also before I started all my migraine treatments. It didn't occur to me till a few hours later that I never even got a migraine. This was something that would have given me a migraine for sure. It also helped that I am in good shape. Because I noticed that as my 'enemie's" energy was waning mine was just staring to pick up (the game was only 30 minutes...I workout 2-3 times that amount). Hence why each game quarter I was winning by bigger and bigger margin....hahaha!!!! So ya I was the big winner of the evening!!! Woohoo!!! The funny thing is I was thinking too bad I couldn't workout like this everyday it was fun and it was good cardio...
Today I have to workout and throw in my laundry and then off to Easter dinner. So another busy day. But no complaints here. How about you guys???
Well I got to go and start my day. See you all later...bye.
Happy Easter....He is Risen!!!!!!!!!!!!
Crystal you sound crazy busy. That is always a good thing.
I too have been busy. My daughter, the babies my son in law and I spent Good Friday in Pilsen at the Passion Parade. It was awesome. I fulfilled a dream of always wanting to go. We wound up being in the parade. That's a long story, but we had mad fun.
Yesterday I finally did our grocery shopping. We were out of everything. you know it's bad when you have to go to Starbucks because you have run out of coffee.
Today we are greeters at church and then we are going to our friends for dinner at 2p. It will be great to see everyone.
I have to run and dry my hair.
Peace and love,
Sharon
I am a coffee addict BUT will go w/o if I have to go to Starbucks. Give me DD any day of the week. Good thing I walk to work and do not drive near the DD close by that was on the way to my old building. I would be there in the drive up wasting gas and polluting the atmosphere!

"Hoppy" Easter. I have been so busy that I did not even get my few that I have Easter decorations out. Next year. We are off to Easter Brunch with my brother and SIL at 11:30 at our local Holiday Inn. It is only 3/4 of a mile away so we will walk there. Before then I finished putting away the last load of laundry and I have a small amount of items in the sink to wash before we leave.
I found a crafty project on Pinterest for hanging necklaces. You take wooden hangers (I used a child size 12" hanger), drilled 12 holes on the bottom side and then screwed in white mug hooks. I used Command clear hooks for hanging them on the wall. This way I utilized the wall behind my bathroom door and a small area under the light switches. There is another project where you take a pretty or vintage style frame, pop out the back, put lace fabric or some other fabric there where you take the back out, screw hooks into the wood area at the top inside of the frame. I am going to hang them on the doors for a cabinet in the bathroom. It is a wicker type of cabinet so the hanging part should be easy by wiring it through to the inside of the door. I am going to look at the resale shop for frames, cheaper. I will see what I can find - see if I can distress them also.

Oh, forgot to say that we got up early and attended the sunrise service at our local Lutheran church.
behind my bath door for cabinet doors printers tray old wood/knobs
Go on Pinterest and search under "jewelry display" and you will see a lot of things to re purpose things into a display for small places. You can take old crates like you would have Coca Cola and make it into shelves or an old wood drawer turned vertically can have hooks added and then the one end of the drawer can act as a shelf.

Good Morning Everyone!
Happy Easter! It is a nice sunny day. I am so happy for that. There is a saying if it rains on Easter Sunday it will rain the next 7 Sundays and that is so true. I would hate the idea of 7 more rainy weekends.
This afternoon it is grocery shopping for me. Yesterday I was really tired and slept a lot. I tried posting twice Friday and it wiped everything away both times so I gave up. I had gone to the walk in clinic on Thursday and got rejected. The doctor sent me to the ER. She felt it was more than she could handle. So I went and got my iron infusion. After 4 iv attempts and 2 1/2 hours later I came home at 7, ate supper and turned around and went to the ER about my tailbone. By a little after 10 pm when I had not been seen and knew it would be midnight or 1 am before I got home I left the ER. I was in so much pain I only wanted to go home, take some vicodin and go to sleep so I could work the next day. Saturday all the redness and pain were gone. Today the pain is starting back but I will be darned if I will go to the ER. The walk in clinic doctor thought it might be an internal abcess. So I will just wait it out.
Lisa, Congrats on your surgery date! It wont be long! Just 19 days.
Sharon, He has risen, indeed! Hallelujah!
Chris, your ideas sound cute. I am with Crystal, pictures please!
Crystal, your adventures sound like lots of fun! I agree, you are never too old for an Easter basket. My mom gave me one until she died.
I hope everyone has a blessed day!
