Saturday Roll Call

Hello everyone

I am ready to enjoy some more good weather today!!!  Yeah!!!

Yesterday I went for my allergy test and I thought it was going to be one of those scratch test I have seen on TV.  But they just took a few viles of blood.  I guess they do it differently now??? 

Then I went out with my friends and we had a lot of fun.  I always have fun when I go out with them.  I heard all the new office gossip and some of it really juicy (it always is at a big place like that).  And because I don't work there anymore they tell me everything because they figure who am I going to tell...hahaha.  Not that I would any way...but I guess they feel safer now. 

I forgot to mention that I got my first gun lesson the other day.  A friend of mine is a cop and he was showing me stuff.  I never really ever handled a gun before...ever.  So my first impression was...it's heavier than I expected.  Especially, when it is full loaded and you have to hold it straight out in front of you.  After a minute or so my arms were already getting a little tired.  Second...it's a lot harder to **** and lock the gun than I thought.  They make it look so easy but it took all my strength to get the slide to move back and forth.  Finally...it's hard to remember exactly the correct way to hold the gun.  I kept holding it wrong!!! You have to hold right when fired you could really hurt yourself.  So once I get this down right...then I get to go to the gun range and shoot...I'm kind of excited to do that.  I also found out that even though I am left handed I actually I am a right handed person when it comes to guns.  The funny thing he knew I would be when he was questioning me he asked when you play sports do you throw the ball with your right or left hand.  And I always used my right hand...and he knew that meant I would be a right handed with the gun and he was correct.  But my left eye is dominant when I am looking through the site to aim.  He says usually it's right hand, right eye or left hand, left eye...so I am unusual...and I said "Of course I am!!!" 

Today I will be working out, cleaning, and then later going out for some laser tag.  So more fun tonight.  I am having so much fun what will I do when I go back to a normal weekend???  So what do you guys have planned for today???

I think I will finish my coffee.  Then I will try some homework from the University of Toronto.  Then I will go to a hack at freegeek.  Hack at the Worm Hole had no real direction.  Just a bunch of Pythonistas doing whatever they wanted and some helping others on things they were stuck on.  Worm Hole does not serve food so we went to Antique Tacos for a late lunch.  A bit pricey but very good.  What can I say?  Wicker Park.
