Just hanging out in the house today.

Hello everyone

Today is my Friday...WooHoo!!! 

Today after work I have a doctor appointment and then I am meeting up with a friend and were going to eat and hang out.  That's my day.

Two days in a row I had bad sleep.  I fall asleep fine around 10 but then I wake up at around 2 and can't get back to sleep.  I figure at least I'm getting around 4 hours of sleep.  And I will be able to sleep in tomorrow or take a nap if I want.  I just always have these bouts where I'm fine and then I have a couple of days where I can't sleep through the night.  Oh well.   

I am already thinking about the fact when I come back to work Monday I will be soooo busy.  Because I will have my normal busy day but I will have my Friday work I need to do.  So I am planning to come in extra early.  Because there are reports I do that have to be out by 11am.  I think some people forget about the 11 am deadline because I always send them out way earlier.  Then there was a Monday when we were having issues and it slowed me down.  Well around 9:30 I had 4 people email  and ask me where the report is...and I was annoyed because it's technically not due till 11...but I have them all so spoiled by sending it out by 9.  I told my boss I think they need to be reminded just when it is due!!!  So I am sure the same thing will happen this Monday!!!    

I have to tell you I hope the weather report doesn't change because I am looking forward to Saturday's weather....it sounds kind of nice.

For some of us, we have to work tomorrow.  Ahem Crystal!   So it is just another day of the week for me.  Today I have work, then need to pick up a prescription after work, I have an iron infusion at 5 pm and then home.  So longer day.  I may go to a walk in clinic tonight.  Late last night my tail bone area began to really hurt!  It is so strange.  It is all red as well.  So whenever I sit or lay down, I have a deep pain.  Ouch!  I am not sure what this is about but I sure want it stopped. I could understand it if I had fallen or hurt myself but I did not and it came on suddenly.  One minute it was not there and then the next it was in full force pain.

I too am looking forward to the nicer weather over the weekend.

Nancy, I broke my tailbone twice. Did you fall sitting? There is nothing you can do for a broken tailbone except wait it out. Hope it's not broken. 

Crystal, you crack me up. It's the beginning of a 3 day weekend and you are already thinking about work on Monday. Forget about it and just have some fun. Enjoy your outing today. You deserve some fun.

Randy, I was home all day yesterday until about 3 and then I only ran out to ge****er. I cleaned and washed all day yesterday. I admit I LOVE a clean house. Maybe a little too much.

I was so sore yesterday and it was real pain not the delicious work out pain. It was from running the day before. I don't think my knees can take it. So instead of running in the couch to 5K training, I will just power-walk. Yesterday I had bad knee pain and i cant live with knee pain again. I had to take advil to sleep. I HATE taking any pills except my usana vitamins.

Tonight I have my house group and that is my only responsibility today. I also am doing a tour of our maybe new church home.

Sharon. Knee and shin pain is why I stopped running. I just hatted limping around all of the time and quite frankly I didn't want to injure myself to the point where I couldn't exercise at all because of a knee injury. So I switched to the elliptical. Which is a shame because I did have a secret desire to run a marathon one day. I don't know if that would be possible with my migraine issue but I thought I could work my way up to a 10k after I ran the 5k. But I was sore for a week after that 5k!!! So no more running for me. And yes I wear VERY good running shoes and socks.

Good morning Il, today I have 4 grands, the boys, 6 and 2 , and granddaughters 7 and 10, until about 4. so my day is going to be busy. Still not word from the last interview, they did call my references, so maybe they are waiting on background check to come back, they did say it would take 3 to 4 days for that.,  Hope they call soon,

Tomorrow I will have the boys during the day and the girls overnight, but wont get them until evening,  We will be going to Golden Corall for dinner.

Sat. not much going on until the evening, then off to a Ice Hogs game.

Nancy are you having problems with your Iron since the surgery?  or is this something you have always had problems?

hope you tail bone is only bruised and will heal soon, Oh and how did you kitty look?

Crystal, enjoy you 3 day weekend, I have had some problems with sleeping all night, but I think it is my bladder, and the dog that wakes me up. Try to get some sleep tonight.

Sharon, Knee pain, I too have had this problem, Had Knee replacement a year ago Dec. and doing great, now the other knee is starting to give me problems.

I am sending you good vibes for a positive outcome on this interview!  It is so hard to wait.    That is so nerve racking. 

Fluffer turned out adorable.  I now know he really i his mama's kid.  He has a tortise  like fur color but when shaved he is gray and white.  His mom is black and white.  Now the big question is what long haired dude was his dad????  He hated ME the first day home.  Now he seems to like the haircut.  His personality is much more positive and not as shy as in the past.  I cannot figure out what there is about this cut that changes a personality but my Beemer also became more outgoing after having the same haircut. 

 I started having problems with anemia and my iron counts just before  surgery.   No one really knows why.  It seems like every couple of years I have to do the iron transfusions.  They are no big deal other than the number of attempts at starting and IV

Good luck on the job hunt!  My fingers are crossed for you!

Hello folks!

Not much going on today except recovering from my birthday yesterday! Did lots of stuff and am really tired today. Ithink I'll take a nap this morning and maybe feel better later. I have a few errands to do but nothing that really has to be done today.

Have had my nose to the grind stone the last few days and we have been at Willow on Sunday & last night serving food. Today we needed to pick up our tax paperwork in Arlington Heights. Before we did that we went to a Good Will that is a block away on the same side of the street and I made a hall for $37. 6 long sleeved collared shirts that can go with dress slacks or jeans and 2 long sleeved cream colored shells. I need sleeves for in my office even during the summer. After that we went to our favorite Greek restaurant in AH called Sam's at New Wilke & Central. I had my fav that they make - Southern Fried Chicken - before you say - eeeeewwwww - fried. There is no coating on it - just fried. Yes, the skin is still on it and I can do that a couple times a year as a treat. I get 3-4 meals out of the chicken and I love to eat it cold. I hardly ever dump and for me it is more from a sugar intake. PS - I do eat the corn or mixed veggies that they serve also.

Off to iron my shirts. This is the first time at a Good Will store. I did notice that I can tell that each and every one of them smell like they were freshly laundered. It is the same fragrance so I am guessing that they might do it on sight at the store . . . ?
