Happy Spring...NOT

Where oh where are you spring...kick winter out of the way and it's your turn now!!!

Yesterday, was a good day surprisingly...since our system went down.  When I say system I mean everything.  Not just the software we use...but Excel, Outlook, the internet...but since the Controller was out...we took that time and used it wisely.  We joked around, turned on some music danced around, and just had some general fun...hahaha!!!  and that's how I spent the last part of my day at work.   

Today is more of the same old stuff...nothing new.  I wi**** would get nice outside.  I want to wear Summer clothes really bad...I am sick of sweaters and under armour, coats, hats, gloves!!!  What do you have going on today??

So this is a little TMI but I am having problems with a hemoroid.  It's uncomfortable.  It started yesterday...so I skipped my workout and opted to stay off my feet and relax.  Well that didn't help at all.  So I'm working out today no matter what.  I think I might try which hazel...I heard that's supposed to help.

Good Morning Everyone!

I agree with Crystal.  When I looked at the weather this morning and saw that the wind chill was -2 degrees, I about said screw it and give up.  I want warmth darn it!  I had to pull out my winter coat again.  I have been fighting that by wearing a heavy sweater but this morning that was not going to work.  I then looked at the extended forecast and they are still calling for snow on Sunday.  What is this?  When I walked into work this morning, I was greeted by Easter Lily's in our lobby.  Somehow that took me aback as it sure does not seem like Easter. 

Yesterday was ok.  We are still busy at work.  I lost my lunch money in the vending machine so no lunch for me.    I will get it back but it will take a couple of weeks.  It was $5.00 which made me madder.  Every once in awhile our change machine eats our money. 

Today I have my hair appointment after work, then home.  I am on the mad list for the cats for some reason.  Gizmo is barely speaking to me.  I have no idea what I did.  He did not sleep with me last night in his usual spot and went to Rick this morning.  Smokey is being aggressive toward me today as well.  Sigh.  The night before Gizmo slept with me with a paw on my face.  He usually sleeps on my pillow.  It is funny that when he is not there, I wake up multiple times at night wondering where he is.  He is like a security blanket. 

Crystal, I have the same problem with hemmorhoids.   Witch hazel does help.  I just have never gone to the doctor with them.  I know I should but somehow that is something I put off.

Your work sounds better than mine.  When our system goes down, we do not get to dance and laugh.  We get to do everything by hand without our system.  It is so much fun!  NOT!

Only a cat owner/lover would understand what you are talking about when it comes to the cats' moods. 

I know I am in trouble when Schnorri refuses to share my bed with me at night. It means I did something wrong. Usually it is because I forgot to give him his fave snack at nonn time ....peach yogurt. He is my lovey-boy and just wants to be with me all the time. 

Kyle and Wolfie never get mad at me. They are so easy-going.

Cat owner??????   Don't you mean  Owned by the cat????      My cats NEVER let me forget who is in charge and who's house it is.  I am just there to feed them, clean their poop boxes and wait on them. 

Happy Hump Day,

Not counting today, we leave for Vegas in 4 days! It seemed so long in advance when we started planning this, I think it was in August, now it is here. The rest of this week is going to be a whirlwind. Tomorrow all the testing in lk Grove Village, then Friday in Yorkville with my kids, Saturday in Springfield. Whew, I think i will go back to bed and sleep some more!

Today all I have to do is finish laundry, and do my hair coloring. I decided to go a bit auburn. I cannot wear it black anymore. We will see how it looks.

Winter it is time for you to go. We need everything to turn green and new. The geese are starting to fly North. Isn't that a sign of spring. Stop playing with us and leave. We will welcome you back,sorta, 9 months from now.

Atleast the sky is blue not gray today....that's a start. I'd like to strangle that lying little rodent ,the ground-hog. He sure turned out to be a real liar this year. 

I had a long day yesterday. I never got my workout in because I have a huge pain in back that is right around my kidneys. It hurts like the dickens. I finally bit the bullet and went to the doctor. Useless. I went because I was sure it was a UTI. He ran labs and it all came back negative. But then he proceeded to give me a script for antibiotics in case it becomes a UTI, prednisone for the inflammation....what inflammation????? and a muscle relaxer and vicodin for the back pain. Geeze. No wonder everyone is a drug addict in this country. Doctors just push pills. I opted to not pick up any of the prescriptions and am lying low until this pain goes away. My chiro gave me exercises and I am doing that a few times a day.

Crystal/Nancy I have found a cure for my piles/anal fissure problem that I can share with you. It worked like a charm and I am 90% better after suffering for 10 months with severe pain. Sharon-  I would have taken the antibiotics.  Remember I had a UTI and my doctor's lab's came back negative.  It was't until I went to the ER that I was told that I had a huge bacteria count.  So it could have been a false negative.

I bit the bullet last night and started the antibiotics. It has waylaid me and I know something isnt right. What's the point of going to a doctor if they cant diagnose the problem correctly??????????

Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinois!

I am at work and starting to get very excited about the trip.  I am meeting Todd in town for dinner tonight then going to Kohl's to spend my birthday card on some warm(er) weather clothes and maybe shoes for the trip.  I also have to figure out what kinds of snacks and food we wish to take.

I have never done this before and it is a big deal for Liv.  I think we will do Florida in the future and maybe the west coast too.  We will see how these go.

Witch Hazel on cotton circles works well on hemoroids.  Get the cotton circles in the makeup isle.  Much less expensive that Preparation H and it is the same thing!

Gotta get back to work!
