Friday Roll Call

Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinois!

I would never make it if I got up at 2:30 am and tried to make it through the day.  When I was younger, but since the "little ones" came, I NEED my sleep!

Todd, Liv and I talked last night and are almost all on the same page.  We have decided to skip Miami so that the trip can be a bit more leisurely.  Since the grandparents have a house in Fort Meyers, we can possibly fly down that way and drive over to Miami at a later date.  The only discussion now is which way to go first.  I want to head southeast and begin in South Carolina and work our way up, and Liv wants to head over to Rhode Island and work our way down.  We will get it nailed down this weekend so that she can make the appointments for the visits on Monday.

I think Liv has resigned her part in the play.  She was in tears again when she came home last night.  She spoke to the director and the director would not promise Liv that she would ever get to do a show, even though she is expected to be at all rehearsals and do the lead part whenever the lead is busy elsewhere.  I told her to think it over, but I THINK she sent the director an email last night.  Like I said...."if it isn't fun, don't do it" and coming home in tears is definately NOT fun.

Surprise, surprise!  David wants to come home for the weekend.  Not so much to see us, but to see some friends that live in Freeport.  I am excited to see him, but I wish I could be sure of what to expect.

So....work today, pick David up, do something about dinner, maybe a movie tonight.  Tomorrow, we pick up our whole hog that is ready and plan to go to Farm n Fleet for some home improvement stuff.  Corned beef and cabbage for me and something else for them.

Quiet day by myself in the office today. Loved it. Off to fish fry at the Legion in Roselle shortly.
