Monday Roll Call

Hello Illinois,

Somehow,  yesterday, my post never showed up. I know I submitted it, but it  never showed up. The mysteries of the internet.

Today is Monday, the start of another work week. It is also a week closer to my daughters wedding in Las Vegas.

Yesterday, I stayed in and vegged. I did do the laundry and such. Made a cake and a roast beef for Sunday dinner. And watched most of the Nascar race, except when I was napping.

Today, I will be cleaning, and working on my clothes to take to Vegas. Maybe make some beef veggie soup.

Hello everyone

I had a laid back day yesterday too.  Since most everything was done Saturday I didn't have much to do yesterday.  I did make my beer chicken and it was good again.  I talked to Amanda and we had fun talking.  We always end up laughing.  I was telling her about the crazy snow we got this week.  That there was no snow hardly all Winter and then BAM we get it all in like a 2 week period!!!  She of course told me how nice the weather is there....blah..blah...blah.

Today is my busy day at work and then I will come home and workout and have some left over beer chicken.  That is my day in a nut shell.  I am such a crazy party nut!!!!  Hahaha!!!  So what is your day like today???

Good Morning Everyone

Lisa, I get puzzled too when I post and it never shows up.  It makes you wonder.  At that point you are like "do I really want to write everything again?" 

Well we are back to a dark commute.  UGH!  It was pitch black when I stepped outside this morning.  Wah I am afraid of the dark!     I hate going to work in the middle of the night.  On top of that I had not reset the clock in my car so that made it even worse!  I will get used to it again and it will be light again before I know it. 

I have little planned this week.  Just an appointment with my kidney doctor on Wednesday.  I am not looking forward to telling him about my disaster back in October.  I wonder what he will say.  Hopefully everything is back to my normal on my kidneys.  I hope they are not worse. 

I am ready for things to slow down some at work.  I hope that happens soon.  I would like to get a swallow of water between calls and have a chance to think.

Crystal, I am so glad you are able to talk to Amanda.  That is really special.  It is great that you have such a good relationship with her. 

Lisa, it sounds like you had a great Sunday.  Have fun getting ready for the wedding.

Sharon, I hope you are hanging in there.  Congrats on the weight loss.  I am so sorry about the unemployment.  That STINKS!

Nancy-  it's a trade off because now it's lighter out longer after work.  I mean, I worked out today and came home and it was still daylight!!!!  Yeah!!!!  My first thought was..Stalker guy can'****ch me from his apartment anymore!!!!! 

And I do agree...I like me and Amanda's relationship.  I was never the "friend" mother...we did always joke around and have fun.... but I disciplined her and made her do chores and homework.  I didn't let her curse or talk back to me or watch rate R movies (things a "friend" mom would do).  But we would joke about farts and burps alot and call each other dumb names like poop face...hahaha!!!!  I'm weird!!!!  Amanda told me once that she was glad that I didn't act more like her friend than her mother.  She said "I have lots of friends but I only have one mom"...awww you can't fight that logic.

Going to Maggiano's for lunch with my main college alum group and the UH Chancellor.

May drop by my Neuro's office as the phone does not seem to get through to them.

Today I have the grands, till 5 or 6, they do keep me busy,

Had to pick up a few thing at the Market, 

Yesterday was a lazy day around here too, did not do much, watched some movies on Netflix's and even took a power nap.

Nancy are you still able to see our Doctor McClellan? She is not longer at the Mercy Hospital in Harvard, No not sure what to do about this. I was thinking of just seeing my reg. Doctors for testing yearly.

Not much going on here, just sitting watching it rain

Janet-  I have wanted to get back on Netflix since I moved to Joliet...but I can't find a single damn person that knows how to hook my DVD player to the internet!!!!  GRRRR!!!

We have not been able to hook ours up either. I still get the dvds, and I watch some movies on my computer.

I did not realize that she left!  I had back surgery 2 years ago and could not make my appointment!  I never got any notice that she was not there.  Do you know where she is now?  

I never made it to support groups or anything because of the distance.  That is one of the reasons I think I was not as successful.  Technically I was a success as I lot 125 lbs but I needed to lose about 100 more.  Hence the thoughts of a revision.
