2 week liquid diet

Hi Lisa,   Thanks for the reply,  We bought  a couple of monuments there in Streator. They were so helpful and comforting to deal with and we have thought about going back down to eat that wonderful fried chicken at a small gray restaurant on the street that goes up to Grand Ridge. I believe it had a sports theme, maybe golf.  But right now I'd better be thinking and doing the dreaded liquid diet.  Thanks for the good wishes, Norma

Hi Norma,

Welcome to the board. When I did my liquid diet I found a beef broth from Swanson that had garlic in it. It was a welcome change from the sweetness of jello, popsicles and Carnation instant breakfast. If Swanson doesn't make it any more you could add garlic to another broth for a change of taste.

I live in Rockford, so am not a neighbor, but I do post most days.

Thanks for the suggestion, I have huge garlic cloves that need to be used, a friend send me  a bag from Washington state. I'll sure try that out.  I read you are the knitter. My Sis will be flying on US Air soon and is wondering if she can take her bamboo needles on the plane.  We have read it's okay but take a printed explanation because it's sometimes questioned. Do you know if this is true?
