Tuesday Roll Call

Sharon-  Hahaha...a wrinkly elephant butt.   I guess everyone comes up with their own analogies.  I have compared my butt to a melted candle or a Sharpe (one of those dogs)...yep that's what happens.  My inner thighs and upper stomach area look similar.  I am starting to lose enough weight that my lower stomach area is really starting to look baggy too!!!  And don't even get me started on my boobs...hahaha!!!

But like you said it's better than being full of fat!!!  Not to mention it feels better too.

Working today and then home.    I really need to make a trip to Wally World, but it probably will have to wait.  I want to get home safe.

I pushed the sweetest lady in a wheelchair last night.  I think her disability was obesity.  I wanted to tell her about the life-saving surgery that is available, but I didn't want to offend her.  Her husband was very sweet and takes great care of her.

I don't think Liv is going to make it in this play.  First read-through was last night and she came home in tears.  I told her I will support her no matter what, but if she comes home in tears every night this week, she needs to seriously consider if that's how she wants to spend the next 6 weeks.  I feel so bad for her.

Tomorrow is Amber's birthday and I am going to deliver the gift that Riley and I made.  A surprise in the mailbox!

We use the netti pot to "wash our nose" when we have colds and infections.  It works great and is natural.

I also got great news yesterday!  One of my "kids" from other parents is going to have a baby!  Another "grand-baby"!  I am very excited for this young couple.  She has really been through a lot in her young life and deserves happiness.  I have lots of "kids" that call me "Momma Dawn" that are no blood relation, but I love them all just the same.  I feel honored that they love me too.

Dawn until I know my ear infection has cleared I can't use the netti pot. It says on the box don't use if you have an ear infection. So I haven't.

Since this messy weather started, It has gone from snow, to ice, to rain, back to sleet and is now snow.

It is going to be a long day.

We had a blizzard for 2 hours and it has stopped for the last 20 minutes.We got maybe 2-3 inches.  If this is all we get I will be one happy Chica.

Hello!

Our backyard has gotten about 1.5 inches of snow in less than an hour. It's beautiful but we can't even see the neighbor's house. If you check this at work, it's time to head for home, even if it is 3:25. Drive safely! Glad I went out this morning.
