Hello everyone

Well get ready for the snow...it's a comin'.  YUCK!!!  I am so glad this season coming to an end soon.

Yesterday I caved and bought some of that store bought nasal spray.  I am very wary of that stuff because I personally know someone that abused it to the point that she burned a hole in her nose.  I don't like that stuff...but I am sick of being stuffed up.  So I bought some and it was almost instant relief.  I am seeing my doctor tomorrow and I am asking him for some prescription nasal spray.  I think that's what I need.

Today I have no plans...just the usual.  How about you guys?

Ok I have to get going and get ready...have a good day...drive safe on your way home today...bye!!!

Well I thought I had my memory game working then realized the reset button is not working.  So there is that.  Then I want to get into the city before the rain hits.  I hope it will be snow.  I like snow a lot more than cold rain.  I do not like raincoats and umbrellas except for a GI poncho and they are hard to come by.  I do not even like them when you have to go inside and you have something wet to deal with.  Meeting at Lake and Michigan tonite.

So you have been forgiven?

Good Morning Everyone!

Is there a cave somewhere that I can go hibernate in until winter is over?  I guess if we are going to get the snow it is better to come all in one month.  We have had a nice winter so I should not complain.  But I still want to hibernate now.

Yesterday was all a full moon could bring.  If something could go wrong it did.  And I got the weird stuff to go with it.  I went home all hyper last night and had a hard time unwinding.  I hope today is better.  I am really trying to cut my average handling time an it seems that the harder I try the worse it gets.    That seems to be when I get those calls that take forever.

I think my new stray has decided he/she likes it at my house.  It was sleeping on my glider this morning waiting to be fed.  Uh oh.  This is where I have to brace myself and try to catch it and take it to the shelter.  Ugh.  I hate doing that.

Today is work and home.  I am not messing around in getting home.  I will go straight there and stay in once I get there.  It does not sound like the best  day to go driving.

Everyone stay safe and have a great day!

I too have not used many nasal sprays.  What I do use is one of those vapor inhalers.  They are over the counter and look like a chap stick tube but have a menthol aroma.  They usually clear me up.  I figure those are the safest.  But I really have no idea.

Good Morning,

It is 7 a.m., and no rain/sleet or snow yet. It looks like it could open up and dump something on us, but it hasn't yet. I woke up at 2, looked outside and went to the w.c. Then back to bed. Awoke again at 4, checked the weather and then had a cuppa coffee, went back to bed. I am up now, and thinking about what I am going to do today.

I did make an appointment yesterday with Dr/ Hart. the lung guy. One of the questions his girl asked was if I had a stress test recently. My heart Dr. does not require them, so no. I told her I had an echo done last spring, so she was going to request  copy  of that,

Crystal, I too had a friend also that almost od'ed on nasal spray. It took her a long time to get over it.

Be careful if you go out today. It might be a good idea to get those things out that you can put on, and walk in.

Hugs,

LISA

Hi Peeps,

Well, I just heard on the radio the snow is falling in Kankakee and heading north. I guess I'll see it very soon. I am hoping it's a 2 incher and gone before we know it. Please stay safe my dear ones......

Crystal, I use Zicam nasal spray. It's homeopathic and works immediately.  I get it from CVS. It's homeopathic. I get the aloe vera one because the eucalyptus blows my passages out and I get a brain freeze..effective but painful sometimes. I get the dry nasal passages around this time every year. By February my house is so dry, my nose gets stopped up by 11pm. I keep the zicam on my bedside table. 2 sprays every 12 hrs.

Yesterday I had a great workout but no real muscle pain later. I was a bit sad. I feel like the pain is a trophy for working so hard. No trophy?!?!?!!?

This morning when I looked in the mirror I noticed my butt is wrinkly. It looks like an elephant butt with all those wrinkles. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.  I'd rather have wrinkles than fat any day.

Nancy, good luck with the puddy outside. I know how that goes when you try to catch an outside cat to take to the shelter. I've tried many times. Is it a young or older cat? I've heard there are cages that are highly effective. I've never tried them tho I know someone who uses them all the time to catch strays for neutering. .

The house directly across the street is gorgeous but empty. Our neighbor walked away last August. For the past few nights I have noticed there are lights on, there are steps in the snow and now there is a beat up old car in the driveway. Should i call the POPO? What would you do? Ugh. I am praying it is someone our old neighbor knows, but my gut says not likely.

Randy, I am praying you are safe tonight.

Lisa, I had to have the stress test and echo this time last year before the surgery. It's a piece of cake. The worst part was no coffee in the morning before the test. Plus they scheduled it at 2 pm and I could not eat or drink anything. I recall being starved. LOL

Be safe my chickadees.

Hugs,

Sharon

To be on the safe side I would call the police. If it turns out to be some one who should be there they will understand and probably be happy that there are watchful concerned neighbors around. I know I would be.

I agree with Crystal.  Can't hurt.

I called the POPO and it turns out the car is owned by a neighbor on the other side of the subdivision who is having that car serviced by another neighbor who lives down our block. He is parking cars he works on in the driveway. I'm glad I called. Now I wont have to think about it again........thanks for the sound advice Peeps!
