Sunday Roll Call
Good Morning.
It is starting to get lighter earlier now. A sure sign we are heading to spring.
We had a good time yesterday evening with our kids. Morgan was actually talking and kidding around with us. Usually she has her head in to a pair of speakers.
Today, the only thing I am doing is making chicken for dinner. I am also going to the show to see Safe Haven, I usually wait to see it on Netflix, but a friend wants to see it.
What are your plans for today?
Hugs,
LISA
Never heard of the movie. Now, I can say that I live in a bubble TEEHEE.
I know of people and some of my family that will not let their kids bring electronic devices out while in a restaurant or at a social event. They feel (and so do I) that the young people need to be involved in the conversation and communicate with others and not communicate via texting or playing games or music. We were at Thanksgiving dinner in the Dells 3 years ago and there was a guy (he was about 45+) at a table near us that spent the whole dinner on his smart phone as did some of his kids.. What was so important that he could not have put that phone down and talked with his family? They also ate their dinner so fast (30 minutes) and left. No meaningful conversation that I could tell of went around that table.
Technology is great but . . .
