Sunday Roll Call

I bought a new counter oven after Christmas, it holds a 11x13 baking pan. or the regular size 6 count muffin pans. As my old toaster oven went out and since I used it all the time, I even baked all my cookies in it for the holidays! So this time I did go bigger.  It also has  a rotisserie in it and I have made some awesome rotisserie  chicken in it since clean up is a breeze.  If clean up was not easy it would be just as cheap to buy one at the market.  My next purchase will be a new microwave. I want a little bigger then what I have since mine is so tiny right now!

I only use my stove to make breakfast or to boil something. So my stove is hardly used. No nasty oven to clean enlightened

Busy week, this week....Monday no school, Tuesday weigh****chers, a nail appointment and my psanky egg class. Wednesday early out and Thursday getting packed to head up to Wheeling on Friday, or Thursday night if the snow they are calling for is going to be bad, with my daughter and grand daughter. There is a NRG dance convention going on at the Westin that Abby is attending. We will be up there till Sunday when it's all done around 4 pm!. I took the next day off to sleep in and to just relax.

Which Westin? I can see the Westin NW from the middle of my street here in my town, Itasca.

My toaster oven will hold a tray that is approximately 7x9 and that is all that I really needed and wanted. I do not reheat pizza ( I reheat pizza in a frying pan with a cover on it - slowly) nor make a frozen pizza, brownies, need to make rotisserie chickie, You have grand babies and size is something that I am sure you need. I do have the counter space for a larger toaster oven . . .  do nor want to "up" size again. When my full size oven needs cleaning (infrequently) I use the auto clean on it and that is a breeze.

Let me know which Westin you are going to be staying at. I think Itasca is the only one in this area.

I use mine a lot for the grand kids, but I never buy pizza and such. I use it to prepare lots of baked potatoes, meat loaf my chicken  , we roast all our Brussels sprouts and most of the time we cook up enough for a couple days. Then it is ready to use quickly. I had a perfect spot for the bigger one and I got a really good deal on it and it's really nice for as much as we use it. I

Yes, they do heat up fast. It sounds like you put yours to good use with good solid food.
