Thursday Roll Call

Hello everyone

The day went by slow for me....the auditors left me alone all day until an hour before it was time to go home.  Then they requested all they payments and backup be pulled for a particular job.  My boss kept saying sorry...I said don't worry about it.  First of all, it's not a big deal and second of all it's not your fault.  I don't like pulling files and making copies but I do it.  I'm not afraid of a little extra work.   The week has gone by pretty fast for me as whole. 

Well does any one have any great valentines plans.  I really never got into Valentines and all that.  I'm not a flowers, candy or teddy bears kind of gal.  Flowers die and candy makes you gain weight and what the heck am I going to do with a teddy bear???  I would rather get some gadget or a gift card....romantic I know.  And going out to eat today is just awful...the restaurants are so crowded (that's not romantic).  I would rather stay home and do a home cooked meal.  I was trying to help plan a romantic evening for my married friend at work.  I was trying to come up with ideas with her...hahaha.  

I have no special plans today? same old, same old for me...

Morning Everyone

It is Friday Eve!    I am so thankful.  I cant wait for the weekend.  I am so frustrated with my job.  They talk out of both sides of their mouths.  They tell me what a great job I do and then tear me down for everything I do.  You end up with no self confidence.  I refuse to believe that I cannot do this job. I have a master's degree and they only require a high school education so either I am overtrying or something.  I guess I do try to hard.  But I cant just not do my best on a job. I just know that education areas are so different that business focuses and I must not have a business mindset.  I want to help customers. 

I do not know what my plans are for today.  I have a dentist appointment after work.  Real romantic huh?  Other than that it is work and then the dentist and then who knows.  Maybe job hunting.

Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinois!

I am working today, then home.  We don't usually do much for Valentine's Day either.  We think we should show our love everyday, not just once a year.  I DID get Todd and Liv Reese's Hearts and a card.  Todd sent me a sweet email.  That will be the extent of the "Hallmark Holiday".  I would make a nice dinner, but Todd has a Scout meeting.

Not too much else happening here.  Just work, airport and home.  I ordered some supplies for my lotion bars and am excited for them to arrive.

Happy Valentine's Day friends,

Kay and I are going to Social for dinner. It's such a favorite place for us! We don't usually go out for valentine's Day because our anniversary is next week, but we hadn't been to Social recently so we decided to go.

Other than that, I'm going to get my haircut today (thank goodness!) and maybe run an errand. Yesterday I sent my daughter her birthday present (three weeks late). They Garry children have thisthing about hanging loose with dates and time (which they got from their father). Any special day you might get something a week early or a month late. You can't pin them down. For those of you who know the Myers-Briggs temperaments they are all Perceiving to the ultimate max. I however am not one bit, but because they are, they love getting gifts or cards whenever so I try to comply. (Drives ME nuts!)
