Tuesday Roll Call

Hello everyone

I was so busy wishing for warm weather....I forgot to wish for the sun to go with it!!!  Oh well can't have everything.

I know what is bothering me.  I think it's just allergies from the sudden weather change.  My sinuses are going nuts.  I guess my ears felt it first...I think that's why I was so dizzy.  Later the stuffiness kicked in big time and my ears keep popping.  I have been taking Allegra and Bonnine and it's been helping.  It's worst in the morning, then I start feeling better as the day goes on.  I can feel the drainage so the Allegra is doing it's job.  I did skip the gym yesterday.  Just because I didn't think it was a good idea to be on the elliptical feeling dizzy.

Yesterday I came to work to find out that mice ate through my phone cords!!!  My phone wasn't working right.  I was getting a dial tone but no one was able to hear me and I couldn't transfer.  So I am going to kill me some mice.  I bought me some mouse traps.  I hate mice (I'm not afraid of them) they are disease and germ spreaders.  Amanda would not approve...I got the traps that kill...not the humane ones.  Pfff....I don't want to let them go...they will run right back inside to eat my phone cords!!!!

So today more of the same for me....how about you guys???

Well I have to get going...have a good day...bye

Revision on 04/19/13

Good Wet Morning,

My doctor approved me to get approval for my revision.

I fell in love last night with a different place to eat. Ruby Tuesdays. They have the best fish in the world. And raspberry tea.

I am off to work.

Hugs,

LISA

Lisa.- I love Ruby Tuesdays. That was me and Amanda's restaurant on our mommy-daughter days (before she went vegetarian) on me. That place will always have good memories for me.

Good Morning Crystal and Illinois Friends

Well, we go from one extreme to another.  It was 60 degrees at 6 am this morning and we are under a flood watch!    Tomorrow I think the high is 20 degrees.  No wonder everyone is getting sick.  It is hard to know how to dress.

I am looking forward to the end of the week as I have Friday through next Wednesday off.  No plans to go anywhere.  Those all fell through but just to get away from the office will be nice.

Crystal, you give those mice some marching orders!  Maybe they are attracted to all the food that is around that office.  They surely are well fed.  I know you will win the battle.  I am relieved to hear you are not getting sick but sorry to hear it is allergies rearing their head.  Those are not fun either.

Dawn, it sounds like David is trying.  He just isn't quite there yet.  But it is a start.  as far as he and Liv not getting along that may change.  I thought my niece and nephew would kill each other growing up but today they are as close as can be.  When I think of the knock down drag out fights they used to have it amazes me.

Lisa, it sounds like your visit with the doctor went really well!  Congratulations.  I know you will be happy with your Rny.

Georgie, that noro virus scares me too.  Take care.

Randy, keep at that computer.  You are amazing.  Did you see the resume that went viral where the guy made it look like he was an Amazon product.  It was really creative!  I hope the shot helps Cheryl.  They do nothing for me.

Sharon, what are you up to this soggy day?

Everyone  have a great day!

Hello Mickey Mouse Killer and IL Friends,

Crystal you made me smile as usual. I'm surprised you arent just shooting the little guys with your big gun...HAHAHAHAHAHAAH

Mice are such a nuisance and can make such a mess.  We had 2 in the garage a few years back. My hubby took care of it. You are a rock-star. I could not dispose of them. EEEEEEEEEK

Lisa, I am so happy for you. I havent been to Ruby Tuesday's in forever. Which fish did you have that was so good. We have one by the Joliet Mall, I'll have to try it. Our best fish/food is at the American Legion Hall on Infantry in Joliet. The food is cheap and delicious, especially the fried chicken and catfish. For 6.50 they feed you like a king.

Randy, hope Cheryl feels better. chronic back pain cannot be easy.

Nancy, a long weekend doing nothing sounds divine. I hope you get to do whatever you want.

Yes, this is such weird weather, but I have been seeing tons of geese flying north. I think we are in for more mild weather ahead. All we have to do is get thru Feb and we will coast right into spring!

I realized something yesterday, I don't read anymore, I dont watch TV anymore and I used to sit a lot. I cannot sit down and read a magazine anymore. They have been piling up for months. I keep thinking I'll read them and before I know it I get another batch. Where can I donate all these new unread magazines? I am not going to renew.the subscriptions. I cannot recall the last time I did not have a subscription to all my former faves.

I was very dizzy yesterday as well. I took my Zyrtec D and feel much better today.

Today, my hubby has a late day, so I think I am going to finish cleaning out my cabinets in the kitchen. I did the weird ones yesterday; under the sink, above the stove, next to the stove. Today I think I'll do my pantry. Garbage man comes tomorrow and I'd like to have the cans filled before he comes, not after.

Have a great day everyone.

Stay well,

Sharon

Sharon- I just don't get squeamish about stuff like dead mice. I just put on my rubber gloves and toss it in the garbage. I learned along time ago to just do that stuff myself. My ex was useless. And my dad was not the type to run over to help out so I did it.

Also I grew up in a neighborhood of boys that picked on me. So I got used to spiders snakes and other gross things being waved around at me or thrown down my shirt....hahaha!!!!

Sharon

How about dropping off your magazines at a local nursing home, hospital waiting room or doctors office.  The often have really OLD magazines or none to view.  I am sure they would be welcome.
