Thursday Roll Call

Good Morning and Happy Thursday,

I am working today and have to be out there by 7, so I thought I'd drop a quick line while my car warms up.  

I am having a hard time getting motivated to do anything in this cold weather. I'm glad I am working because i am not doing much of anything else. 

I made wings in the oven last night . They were so good and so easy. I found a Mrs Dash Southwest Chipotle blend and it is delicious. I thought it might be real spicy, but it wasnt. I put a lot on too. After seasoning the wings with salt and pepper i added the Mrs Dash and popped them into a 425 degree oven for 75 minutes. Divine. My new favorite way to make wings. I threw a baked potato in with them  for Grathell and we were good to go. 

I made $100 yesterday by selling back my old DVD's to amazon. I have about 50 more that I will do next week. They are just sitting in a cabinet and I figured I'd get rid of them. Amazon provides the UPS mailing slip, all I need to do is take them to the UPS store by my house and a few days later an amazon credit appears on my account. I have also sold some old electronics equipment as well. Only stuff we no longer use. I was so excited when they paid me $17 for one alone. A 4 disc Barbara Streisand concert series. 

Well I am off to work in the tundra.

Hello everyone

Yesterday was a better day...just a little better. But today looks yucky...I hate snow.

I did get to the gym and had a great workout. I think the day off did me good. I always cover the time so don't sit there and watch the the minutes tick by...it makes the time go by slower. I usually end up peaking to see where I am, well yesterday I didn't peak till I was 45 minutes in!!! By then it was almost time to finish up. I was also happy because the one other person that came in was a woman...so no creepiness there.

I was complaining to my friend about how I am now thinner and I am now getting the attention of men but not the ones I want. It's always creepy losers, weirdos, stalkers and just plain unattractive. If there is any one of the afore mentioned men within a 2 mile radius of me they are attracted to me and I repel the ones I want. I am not happy about this at all. I am doomed!!! Is it too much to ask for to have a guy interested in me that I find attractive and is normal and nice???

Well today is more of the same work and working out. How about you guys?

Good Morning Everyone!

It is Friday Eve!    I cant wait until tomorrow! 

My plans to escape the cold were short lived.  I talked to my sister last night and they will be in New Orleans for the Super Bowl.  She told me I was more than welcome to use her beach house but I dont feel right going there with her not being there.  It would not be the same.  I would want to visit with her as well.  Now I am bummed.    My plans to get the heck out of dodge just failed miserably.  So I am stuck in this cold weather when I was planning a mad escape. 

Last night I had a hearing appointment.  Today it is just work.  Gage is coming tomorrow so it should be fun.  We are going to a wild game cook off on Sunday.  It is a variety of dishes.  Should be interesting.  It will expand Gage's horizons. I told Rick that we wont tell him it is wild game until after he eats it.  Other wise he might refuse to go. 

Sharon, take care at work today and try not to get too cold.

Crystal, I am sorry you always attract lhe losers.  I always attract the ones with no money.  I never have figured that one out.

Nancy- if by no money, you mean can't keep a job or has a crap job...I put that in the loser category...hahhaha. If he has no money because of gambling, drugs, too many kids, alimony...also a loser. If he has no money because if medical bills well then I feel bad for him but I still wouldn't date him.

Good morning Illinoisans,

Got a few errands today but nothing significant.

My daughter turns 40 today and my oldest son turns 44. they didn't enjoy having the same birthday at all. I made sure #3 wasn't born in January! LOL

Saw an incredible knitting pattern this morning on knitty.com. It will have to wait till after we come home. It looks like one that has to be done without others around!

I hope you are all staying nice an warm.

The wings sound good!  I really love wings but if they are too greasy, they do not love me.

I have to work at the airport tonight so that will be fun.  It is the Las Vegas flight, which is usually a little more lively than the Florida crowd.

David called last night and asked if I would meet him for lunch tomorrow.  He said that he wanted to stay over the weekend.  I told him that I cleaned out his room and he seemed surprised.  Go figure.  I will see what he has to say tomorrow, but I don't think he really wants to come back to "rules".  Wish me luck.

Gotta get back to work at the moment.

Yesterday, I left my Ipad at work. I didn't remember it until I was almost back to Streator, so I called the office this morning and told the girls to put it on the back desk and i would get it tomorrow. I have a Dr. appointment near there tomorrow, so it will be easy to stop and get it. I worked today, and then stopped at a friends to exchange Christmas gifts. She was in the hospital over Christmas, so I didn't get to see her.
