Saturday Roll Call

Have not checked yet but I think we have playoff games this weekend.

That leaves the morning to play with Python and Google Apps.

What are folks making for playoff game snacks.  I recommend roasted butt of old bears.

It was so nice yesterday. After we had dinner at a local watering hole, we decided to go get groceries. No news there, but when we came out, it was about 8:30, it was so nice out. I can take January in the 50s anytime.

Hubert finished painting the dining room yesterday. All I have to do in there is rehang stuff and vac. So ends the fall/winter projects.

I also started a rug yesterday. I  am making it entirely out of one printed fabric. This is something different for me.

Nothing else planned for today or tomorrow. I am hoping to stay home and veg.

Randy, since I don'****ch football, no snacks will be had here.

Hello everyone

Well yesterday was nice and warm but I was hoping for some sun...but I guess I shouldn't push my luck.  I really, really wi**** was Summer again.

I got all of my running around done yesterday too.  I even went to Goodwill and was happy to find a pair of Vera Wang jeans that fit perfectly for $3.99!!!  I also got a workout jacket (just a jacket to wear back and forth to the gym...so I don't get my regular coat sweaty) for $3.99.  I got 2 tops too...it was s good trip.  I went to Walmart, Jimmy Johns (Amanda said she liked the cookies there), I went to Target, Walgreens and Chipotle.  Then I came home worked out and figured out my new gadget.  I bought myself that thing you plug into your car radio then into your iphone and you can listen to your music on your radio.  Oh my I wanted to go for a ride just to listen to my new thingy!!!  But with gas prices..I didn't.  I'll have a chance to listen to it Sunday when I drive to Fox Valley Mall. 

I usually take it a little slow in morning and not go workout till later, but I have company coming over today and I have to get things going.  I am making a crockpot dish so I need to get that going very soon so it will be ready for dinner.  Then I will get dressed for my workout, but before I workout I am running over to the post office to send Amanda and Charles's package. I also need to finish cleaning up.  While everything is cooking I want to drive over to the car wash and vacuum out my car and wash out the inside.  I'm not going to clean the outside it's going to snow tomorrow.   

I am looking forward to seeing Brenda and family.  I bought her daughter (my niece) a little something.  I always try to have a little something for her when I see her.  She is 8 and is so unspoiled...so when I give her the little gift she is always so grateful.  I think that's why I always get her something...it's so refreshing to have a child so sincerely grateful.

Good morning!

Off to knitting with friends at the Bookworm this morning. Last night we went to Octane with friends for dinner and then came homw and watched TV. No other plans for today, but I'd be smart to start looking at clothes for the trip. There is a formal night and I actually do have a few formals which might fit now, so it's something to consider. I rarely dress up so it might be fun!

Stay well everyone and enjoy today! When I went out last night I noticed it was still light quite a bit later than before. Spring will arrive!
