ROD Turkey casserole bake

Crystal posted an idea for leftover turkey the other day and I took her idea and played with it.  Well we had it tonight for dinner and it was excellent!

 

TURKEY CASSEROLE BAKE 

In a baking dish, place pieces or slices of chopped turkey

For next layer add 1 pkg frozen chopped broccoli 

Cover with 1 - 2 cans cheddar cream soup

Layer sharp cheddar  cheese slices over mixture.

Top with premade boxed stuffing mix sprinkled on top.  

Bake at 350 for 35 - 40 minutes. 

 

This was so yummy!  It is definitely a repeat recipe.

I did something similar after reading Crystal's post.

I also lined pan with turkey

I used left-over frozen cooked peas

Covered with cream of celery soup

Top layer was shredded ritz crackers that I had browned in a skillit with a bit of butter.

Put in oven uncovered for 15 mins at 350.

I served it with my leftover mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes. My husband loved it.

I did not try it, but he also took it for lunch the next day.
