Looking for in person support group in NW Indiana/Chicago

I had surgery 4 weeks ago (DS @ Univ of Chicago) and am looking for any in person support groups in the area. Thanks.

Most support groups are thru the surgeon's offices. Does UC have any? I know my surgeons office has a very active large support group that meets regularly and has other activities as well like clothes exchange etc.

You might want to start there. I researched going thru UC when I was looking for surgeons because I was employed by them at the time. I do not recall seeing anything of that nature, but I would contact the coordinator at the surgeons office or the UC website.

BTW, how are you fairing?
