Sunday Roll Call

My Python skills have gotten to the point of writing small games.

Here is one I wrote the last two days.  You score by stopping the watch on five second intervals.

Crock pot had cabbage and pork roast in it yesterday.  Yum.  Had leftover soups through the day.

Leftovers and maybe sloppy joes without bread today.

Steaks for lunch Tuesday.

Back to Northwestern on Monday.

I am looking forward to church today and later the Detroit/Bears game.

I am hoping to get down to see the lights at Lincoln Park Zoo on New Years Eve. I hope it's not too cold.

Have to go stuff the bird and get it in the oven before church.

Randy, you have been busy.

Sharon, enjoy the football game. I am not a fan of football in general. Nor of baseball or basketball. Now Nascar, that's a different story.

We finished up the beef and turkey, so today I am putting on a steak with baked potatos, and a green salad.

Yesterday I didnot get all the Christmas put away. I got a good start, but I really wasn't feeling to good, so I was in the recliner covered up, and snoozing all day .Today I will fini****

Hello everyone

Other than doing laundry and working out I have nothing to do today.  Oh I will call Amanda.  I just kept myself busy doing everything yesterday. I'm sure I can come up with something to do.  We will see.

This week will be a fast week, seeing that we get a 1/2 day off for New Years Eve and a New Years Day off.  I don't like January....I don't know why, it just seems to go on forever.  It's just a cold and long month.  I just want Summer here so I can complain about how hot it is...I would much rather complain about the heat!!!  hahahaha!!! 

Yesterday while I was at Target I started to buy stuff for Amanda's next package.  I found out because Amanda is pretty high up in the mountains it's pretty cold there.  And there is no heating or cooling in any of the housing.  So she was saying it's too cold to take a shower there every day.  In fact they take a shower there about once a week.  So her Uncle Manny was saying in the Marines they would use wipes between showers.  So I bought them wipes, because Amanda said they didn't have wipes there.  I also bought her some hiking socks (to keep her toes warm)...and flavored chocolate bars (to keep her tummy happy).  Hopefully she  will get her package.  I would love to buy her so much more but I can't go hog wild because the package might get stolen.

Hello friends!

Nothing planned for today so I can either read or knit or take a nap--perhaps all three. Tomorrow we go to Madison for New Years. Just a little treat, Hang out in the hotel and have a nice dinner. Looking forward to it.
