Good Morning on the last Saturday of 2012.

Yesterday I started getting the papers together to start filing the 2012 taxes. i love the fresh start every year.

Today is get Christmas over with day. Then, I am planning on the rest of the weekend as Me days. It sounds good anyway.

Good morning Illinoisans!

Had a bright idea today--my long underwear was in the dryer so when I started to get dressed, turned on the dryer for a few minutes and was able to put on hot underwear. LOL What a treat! You know life is good when hot underwear is the highlight of the morning!

We are going out to breakfast with a friend and then off to knitting. I'm almost finished with another shawl and although it won't be done this AM I should make some good progress on it. Pics when finished. This designer, who is new to me, makes the most interesting designs. This is my third of hers and each has been a good learning experience ending in a delightful shawl.

Hello everyone

Yesterday at work started off fine but after 2pm we had to get off out the system.  So it was really boring for 2 hours.  After work I went and did groceries and then to Target and Chipotle.  Then I came home I worked out.  I then took down all of my Christmas decorations (I'm glad to get them put away).  I must have been pooped afterwards because I laid down on the sofa with a glass of water and fell asleep...hahaha.  I remember waking up in the middle of the night and literally stumbling my way to bed.

Today, I am going to Kohls and JC Penney because I have gift cards burning a hole in my pocket.  I will be working out too.  I also have to go to the library.  I already did my cleaning.  I know there's something I else i wanted to do...but I can't remember...I hate when that happens!!! 

Well I hope enjoys their snowy Saturday...I will in spite of the snow...see ya later...bye

Good Morning Everyone!

Fast flyby for me today.  We are grabbin breakfast and then off to Rockford to meet my sister and her family for a late lunch and exchange of Christmas presents.  Then we are taking Gage home since we will be close to his home rather than doing it tomorrow morning.  He has a HOT date tomorrow and wants to be home early for it! 

So lots of car time today.  Tomorrow will be grocery shopping and relaxing.

Hola!

We went to breakfast in the city this morning, then we went to get my FitBit with one of the gift-cards my hubby gave me. Now I have to go on the website and play with my new toy.

I never found my organic turkey, so I caved and got the deal of the century; a 12 lb turkey at Jewel for $6.84. I made the dressing yesterday and will pop the bird in tomorrow morning before we leave for church. YUM! 

It sounds like we are all either dealing with the last of the holidays or just chillin' now that it is finally winding down.
