MERRY CHRISTMAS ROLL CALL!!!!

Merry Christmas everyone

I was up at the crack of dawn (4am).  I am in better spirits today.  Probably because I have stuff to look forward to.  I get to see family and talk to Amanda.  I get to give everyone my gifts.  I fell asleep on the sofa again last night...at least this time I didn't take my shirt off...just my socks.  I do tend to get hot if I sleep on the sofa...because I always wake up minus some clothing...hahaha!!!

I am already making food.  I have the potatoes pealed and ready to go .  I also have biscuits I am going to make but not till later.  I offered to do so much more this year for 1 reason.  To keep me busy. 

Well I am actually going to run over and get in a short workout.  Maybe, 30-40 minutes.  I feel it will pep me up and burn off any extra calories I might eat today.

Was up and really wanted to go for a swim but the pool is closed until tomorrow.

Had my annual Christmas breakfast; coffee and stollen (German sweet bread). I have been baking it for weeks for all the relatives. It was so good to just sit and enjoy.

Well, my hubby surprised me with all my gifts that he wasn't supposed to buy me and I then surprised him, it made us both laugh. He is enthralled with his, so thanks Crystal.

I am trying to decide if I will stay home and just chill, go to my in-laws or go to see Les Miserables. So many choices.

Enjoy this beautiful day of our Lord's birth.

Was also up 2:00 a.m. today. Going me neighbors for Christmas dinner. It will be a nice time.

We had a lovely Christmas breakfast with Italian Christmas sausage and ginger scones--a once a year treat!

Later we will have dinner with some dear friends who supported us during the terrible winter we had last year. As I think back on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's on ice chips and water last year, I am so grateful to be healthy and whole this Christmas.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful day so far.  We slept in and just finished opening presents.  The cats were a riot with their stockings.  I have never seen them fighting over toys like they were.  They kept bopping each other on the head when someone went after a toy they liked.  Every one of them did this.  It was too funny.  Just like kids -- Mine!  

We have a turkey roasting in the oven.  I has been a good today.  Tomorrow it is back to work for me.  I have enjoyed my time off.

We had a crowd last night for our annual Christmas Eve bash, A lot of gift opening alot of talking and visiting and alot of food. It was a perfect evening. This morning Monica and her famely was here, so we had a big breakfast of bacon, sausage and baked french toast. They went on to Scotts family, then we went to Yorkville for dinner with Annette and Rick.

Home now, going to get my pjs on, and get ready for the rest of the workweek.

A nice holiday weekend, I can do it all again next weekend,
