Tuesday Roll Call
Steven, if I remember correctly you work for the USPO - correct? I worked at North Suburban (then Elgin for me) when I was in high school as did my mom, sister and other family members. That is when it was in River Grove behind Triton College. We sometimes worked 7 days a week, 12 hours a day due to the mail volume. I am going to guess that the snail mail has decreased dramatically in the last several years.
I have been fighting a small cold that has the threat of going to the throat and ear. Having it go to the throat and ear is unusual for me. I am just happy that it is happening before the holidays and not like it did last year when I had to go to urgent care in the Dells over New Years. I have to go in for blood work on Saturday morning and if I am really bad I will ask to see the doc real fast.
Dave is at the Creek serving food to the team for rehearsal. Thursday we will both go and serve food for one of the services. As soon as I am done typing here I am going to go order Little Women off of Christianbooks.com I bought it on Amazon and it ended up being the abridged version. That is all right I will give it to my niece for her girls as the unabridged version is close to 600 pages long. The shorter version will hold the girls interest and her oldest girl is an avid reader.
Off to surf for books.
