Hello everyone
I hear we're getting some snow soon...I really wi**** was Summer again....*sigh*...it's going to be a long Winter if I'm already wishing for Summer and Winter hasn't even started yet!!!
Today I have work and after work I have a dinner with a group of friends in Bolingbrook. It will be nice to see them. I am sure it will be a late night...and it will be hard to wake up Wedneday...but heck I don't do this very often!!! So no working out today. What will weird stalker guy think???
I am also going through everything making sure I'm forgetting anything. I think I have everything organized and ready to go this weekend. I have decided to bake this coming Sunday. I do not want all those goodies sitting around to long...I will eat the!!! So I will shop for the stuff I need sometime this week.
Stephen- I know the feeling of working all of the time. Back when Amanda was younger, I used to work 2 jobs. One was on the weekend. So the only time I got a day off was on holidays or if I took a vacation day. The funny thing is taking a day off didn't really make me feel rested...I always came back feeling lazy and tired!!!
Well I better go get dressed and eat breakfast...have a good day all...bye
Good Morning,
I woke up early today. We are going to be short one person for a bit at work. She found out yesterday that she has to have a kidney removed.
Yesterday I started putting things away that we had moved from the dining room. It will be ready for the holidays.
I woke up this morning with a sniffle. I hope it doesn't turn into a full cold. To much to do in the next week.
have a great day,
Hugs,
LISA
Good Morning Steven and Illinois Folks!
Steven, I am sorry you are having to work so hard. I remember those days and now I wonder how I did it. Enjoy your time off! I do hope the Embril is helping. We want you to be as pain free as possible.
I am not looking forward to the snow. MUST it come in a huge storm as its first appearance? How rude! Tonight I am going to go pick up the paw print they made for Beemer after work. I had a message that it was ready. I am now realizing just how bad he was. We did make the right decision. It was just so hard.
Work has been extremely busy lately. There has not been a time to catch a breath. I cant wait until people start slowing down for Christmas and having their holiday parties and quit spending. Then I will be twiddling my thumbs and complaining.
I hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning All,
I had a weird bug after working out yesterday I developed a cough and then body aches and fever. It came on very fast. I do not think my tree will ever get lights and ornaments on it ;)
You all sound so busy working. I am starting to miss that grind.......and the money as well.
I'm taking today off and just laying around. Hopefully I will be good to go tomorrow.
Have a great day everybody.
Hugs,
Sharon
I have something similar. It started on Sunday with a little cough and sneezing, no body aches or fever but a little bit of a head cold that is threatening to turn out big. I have not had an ear infection in close to 30+ years and I think it is heading that way. Had the same thing last year (just the bad cold - I think it was a sinus infection) when in the Dells for New Years and ended up at the urgent care. Happy that this time it is before Christmas.

Oh if I have any kind of sinus infection it eventually turns into an ear infection too...it always happens to me. I never grew out of ear infections. I got them as a kid and continue as an adult. A few years ago I had one so bad that my ear drum burst (I woke up and the pain was gone...but when I sat up a bunch of stuff oozed out of my ear) and it took a couple months to heal...in the mean time everything sounded like it was muffled out that ear. I hate, hate, hate ear infections...they are soooo painful!!!
I hope you feel better before Christmas...and I really hope you don't get an ear infection. Just make sure you taking a decongestant, pain reliever is always good, and a warm compress is good too. But make sure you don't put anything in your ear. For years my grandma and than I would put warm mineral oil in my ear and a cotton ball. The doctor said, absolutely not!!! He even had me put ear plugs in while taking a shower...less moisture introduced into the ear canal. Less moisture...less infection.
