Saturday Roll Call
good morning,
I am hoping for a good day, The horror of yesterday is still on my mind. Those poor families.Suddenly merry christmas isn't so bright anymore. Hug your children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, spouses and friends. Tell them you love them. They could be gone from you in an instant.
I was able to get most of my house picked up and cleaned yesterday. will get to the baking today. And then, I hope to get the dining room cleaned up and organized. Our project is done, except for a few minor touches. Will post pictures over the weekend,
What is everyone doing this weekend?
Hugs to everyone.
LISA
Hello everyone
Yesterday's Christmas party was fun. It's funny because I sit right up front and so when everyone walks in and needs help I am ALWAYS the person they go to. Or if the President or VP is expecting visitors they tell me. to let them know when they are there Well it turns out that's a good thing because I know everyone and I am one of the new people. There are people who have been there longer than me and I was telling them who people were...hahaha. The food was good (and I did splurge a little). Then I did fit in a workout at 9:30 last night...late night workouts really are great.
Today I have to run to the post office, workout, go to JC Penney, Toys R Us (last minute gift for Toys for Tots), Target...and then since I didn't go yesterday it will be Chipotle night tonight...then workout. That's my day.
I have to get going before the post office gets too busy...have a great but wet day...see ya..bye
Good morning!
Still thinking about the horror of yesterday. When I first heard it I thought it was a recap of earlier in the year, then the shock set in. Had to limit the TV bu****ching other stuff seemed banal.
Tonight we have our holiday party so I've been cleaning and setting up. We "lost" the cooler but i found it this morning. One of those events where you look so much that you overlook it. Getting old is a trip for sure! Anyway we didn't get to do Christmas last year so we are overdoing it this year, of course. I have so much gratitude to have survived. I am still amazed. I also made ear flap hats for Dr. Garren's twins and received the most charming thank you notes. They must be as awesome as he is!
Have a great weekend!

Rain....rain...go away....come again another day!
Oh wait, it could have been snow, so I guess rain is ok.....
I finally got that tree and it's in a bucket on my front porch very wet. Hope to get it up this evening. I am baking and cleaning today.
Yesterday the weather was scrumptious, so I was out in it all day with my dog. She loves following me around all over outside. I was so warm I had to take my coat off. I set up our yard creche and put up the live spruce swag around the garage and porch. I added the red ribbons and put clear lights on my outdoor trees. It took all day, but it looks beautiful. I always do it a week before Christmas and always freeze. Everyone took advantage of the mild weather weeks ago, so I was probably the last of the decorators this year.
Crystal, I have heard Holiday parties are fading away due to the costs. Good for your company to have one for their staff. it sounds like you had a good time
Have a good one everyone.........
Hugs,
Sharon
