Thursday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Getting on here kind of late because I have the day off. So I laid in bed till 7am...then I cleaned up around here and started the dishwasher. I got dressed in my workout clothes because I will be working out after my breakfast settles (probably 40 mins.)Then I will clean up after the workout...of course. I also want to run some errands. I also have a doctors appointment today. I might hit that Kohls on my way home...now that I hear someone mention it. Nothing else going on.
Sharon- Last night I went to Jewel ( I have to say it's been a long time since I went to Jewel). The beef is exactly what I wanted (Antibiotic free, hormone free, grass fed and locally raised which is more than I could ask for). Thanks for the tip. Walgreens also has a huge selection of gift cards too.
Nancy- I had something similar happen to me at my one job I hated so much. I had one year when I got strep throat in November and turned around and got the flu in January (our year ended in April). So I took time off both times. At my review my boss told me I had to "work" on calling in so much. Mind you I had vacation time to cover ALL of the times I called in!!!! But I still got dinged for calling in!!! I hate these places!!! All about money and no heart!!!
Connie- If you see me on Facebook complaining about all of the junk food and sweets they have at work....it would be nice if someone would bring in a fruit basket. I think that is an awesome idea.
I hear we are in for some snow Sunday/Monday. I guess we have it coming it's been a long time. I shouldn't complain and it's not like I have to drive 40 miles back an forth to work like I used to (I am 1.4 miles from work). And I know last Winter was a really good Winter....but still....I WANT SUMMER BACK!!! (you can't see it but I am stomping my foot and crossing my arms in full pout mode...I might even fall on the ground and start screaming)
Well I better get going and go workout. I have stalled long enough. Have a good day everyone. see ya later....bye.
I really like Jewel and all the neat places that have grass fed beef at the Farmer's Markets. Some deliver in my area. I am just toooooooooooo budget limited to enjoy buying the grass fed stuff. That and since I raised and fed my own beef when I was in high school it is hard for me to not want that extra fat and taste that comes from finishing a steer on grain.
Did you see my freezer Pics on FB?

Good afternoon Sharon and the rest of Illinois!
I posted a neat gift idea in a separate post. You could make a batch and put it into small baby-food type containers with a pretty ribbon and plastic spoon.
I am working then stopping to look for something to wear to our Christmas parties this year.
After that home. Maybe to work on some of those neighbor gifts.
That's about as exciting as I can be today.
Everyone have a joyous day!
Christine is was so nice seeing you and Dave tonight. I also want to say my doc is the best! He is my "Angel"
Karen
Karen, the feeling was mutual. We had so much fun. You sure were "targeted" with all your grab bag picks and steals but you won out in the end as did we. Dr R is an angel, you are correct. Dr M is right up there in my eyes also.
