Wednesday Roll Call
That little smiley is me - sleepy. We did not get in until after 11 from the concert, then we talked and I did not put my head down until about midnight.
The concert was a great message from Genesis to Revelation of stories of great servants of God in the bible but the music left a lot to be desired. The servants were those who had hope and despair before Christ was born to the joy we can find in Him as our Lord and Savior. it was all original music except for 2 Christmas Carols. The event pastor that was the narrator was a former Willow teacher, Randy Frazee. The concert was sponsered by organizations that I highly respect, World Vision, WMBI, K-Love and Spirit radio stations. Pardon me for the small side step and teaching moment.
What is happening in your area of IL today. We are going out to buy our tree after I get off of work.

Hello everyone
Well my day took another detour yesterday at work. I did catch up with all my work but at 3pm my boss came up to me and said "what are you doing"...famous last words. I found myself in the middle of a payroll project. I was there till 7pm...but hey I will get some overtime. And I still got my workout...I was not going to let the overtime derail my workout!!! I had leftovers from my crockpot the night before (see always good to have that...in the old days I would have just gone to McDonalds) I just ended up staying up later and then I fell asleep on the sofa.
Today I am doing some running around because I have tomorrow off (I have to get those vacation days in). So I am running to Walgreens to refill my migraine meds. Then I am going to do my groceries....does anyone know what Jewel has to offer as far as organic meat??? Walmart has organic chicken but not beef. I am looking for beef. I am of course also going to workout. I also don't know if they are going to want me to work on that project again...which I will stay late again. I will stay even later today because I don't have to work tomorrow. I am sooo addicted to overtime...why do I do this???
This morning I woke up earlier than usual, probably because I was on the sofa. So I stayed up and paid some bills online and got my grocery list together, refilled my RX online...I love doing things online...what did I ever do before this???

I get my ground beef at Jewel. It is not organic but it is grass-fed and antibiotic free and it is delicious. It comes in 1 lb packages and every time it goes on sale i buy 20 packages. They also have the grass fed steak and stew meat. They do have organic ground beef at Trader Joes, Costco and Whole Foods...all in Orland. I am working on joining a co-op in the area, if you are interested I will forward you the info when I get it :)

I will be working alone, today and tomorrow. My boss is in the hospital, so everyone has to cover for her. What that means is 5 offices to cover and only 4 to do it. Thank goodness all 5 offices aren't open all the same days.
No other plans for today other then possibly going out for supper.

Hi Christine and Chicks, Randy and Steven,
I spent yesterday chasing my tail. I took my girlfriend to have plastic surgery on her eyes on the North Shore in the city. That turned into sitting in traffic coming home.......ugh. Then I rushed to meet my other friend for dinner who stood me up because she was stuck in traffic. I hope I never have to do that again. What a waste of good time. I missed working out and I must say I did not like that. I was able to go to house group and as always it was delicious.
I'm waiting for my car to warm up (yes the cold is back this morning) so I can go swim. I am going to do a double work out since I missed yesterday. I also see my personal trainer today. Who knew exercise could be so addictive.
Christine, the concert sounds like it should have been awesome. I too love MBI and World Vision.
Crystal, you are my hero........you are sticking to your new life style in spite of the challenges of everyday life.

Good morning all, Everything is going ok here, it was a slow one for sure!! wound up staying a day in the hospital, OMG, the nausea and vomiting on a newly opened belly did not feel well, but it has been a week and things are looking up daily, thank you all for your thoughts ,prayers, Denise
