Monday Roll Call

I wish we had a like button here! I then could just let everyone know I did read your post. 

I have 3 full days and the 1 trip Thursday morning then I am off to Downers Grove for the week-end. 

I have tried for 2 weeks to get my gym membership canceled, the manager is never there. With the gas prices I have decided that the 52 miles round trip is too costly to make many time weekly. No one else there can fill out the cancel request, and Charter Fittness say's they need a paper trail to cancel . I don't under stand why you can not cancel on line when I joined on line? I have decided when the manager shows up today, if, I will make an appointment with him for Wednesday morning. I an really not happy with this gym;s manager. He never works!

I have a little house work to take care of so I gotta run.

Good morning Steven and the rest of Illinois!

I am back at work and have to report to the airport tonight.

Weli wound up not coming in until Saturday afternoon, so no tree hunting for us.  We should have went yesterday but I ran a few errands after I dropped her off at the bus and it was too late.  That's ok.  I try not to "do" Christmas until after Todd's birthday, which is Wednesday.  I have his present all ready so I will maybe take him to dinner.

On Saturday, we just had a really nice dinner and relaxed at home with Weli.  That is not how it usually is, but that's what she wanted to do.  Riley came out too and provided entertainment.  David even showed up.

I called on Friday to set up my surgery and the head assistant was out.  I called the second assistant and first off, when she called me back, she didn't even have my records or notes so she said she would call me back again.  Once she called, in the late afternoon, she told me that the first opening would be January 4.  I told her that was NOT ok and that the doctor said getting it in before the end of the year would be possible.  She was surprised that I would not accept that date and said she would put me on a cancellation list and also speak with the doctor.  I will be calling the head assistant today.  So, the issue may or may not get fixed.

Nancy-----good wishes to both you and Rick.  I hope he gets to come home today but also glad that you got caught up on your rest.

Lisa--I really wish Todd was handy.  He DOES do laundry though so I guess that's something.

Sharon and Crystal----you are both doing so well in the weight loss department.  I am looking into Planet Fitness, but need to get the surgery thing figured out first.  If I DO have surgery, I will not be able to work out for 6-8 weeks.

Chris---I LOVE the view from that hotel.  The girls and I stayed there a couple of years ago.

Randy--your cooking does sound amazing!

I have got to get back to work.

Hi folks!

Did a little shopping today and a little knitting and got a flu shot. I know it's late but better than never.

I took a course about 20 years ago that required a three day weekend at that hotel each month for a year. I always got a corner room. That was really fun. Loved the restaurants and shops within walking distance.

I am going to read this afternoon and block a shawl. Pictures when it's blocked.

I saw the RA doctor. She is starting me on Enbrel also they took about 8 vials of blood today. I will be giving myself the injections   of Enbrel once a week. I will see her again in 3 months,
