Saturday Roll Call

Happy Saturday IL!

What is happening in your corner of IL? Not much on the agenda for me today - weird for me to say that but I just have been laying low for the last couple of days. I still get up once an hour as I am supposed to. I probably will do a short walk on the sidewalk that will entail going down 3 houses one way and then cross the street and come back the other direction. It is just enough activity for me and gives me fresh air.

Good Morning Illinois,

It is sppose to be another great day today. We are goingto finish our outside lights, finish putting the village up in the rec room, make a run to Krogers, then head to Bloomington. Monica and Scott invited us to the hockey game tonight. She and I will also hit Sams this afternoon. Macy's too.

Yesterday, I spent time with two of my friends. I haven't seen Jean in a few months, so I stopped at her house for coffee. My "best" friend, Linda, we sent entirely to long on the phone. But, it was great to talk to both of them.

It was nice to see "Cat" yesterday.

Christine, You do need to get outside, try a couple of walks outside today. After my heart surgery, I walked, along with my walker, one house at a time, until I was able to walk to the corner.

Crystal, maybe your nosy neighbor sees somethings you don't. :)

Dawn, you need a laid back weekend.

Nancy, I hope you are felling better.

Sharon and Randy, what are your plans for this  great day?

Connie, is this a knitting day for you? BTW, I loved yout scarf.

Get out and enjoy your day today. We won't have to many more of these.

Huggers,

LISA

Hello everyone

Last night I got bored and antsy and I dug out my Christmas decorations. I had decorations all over the place in my living room.  I have too much decorations.  Anyway...I was decorating away with my jammies (they are cute jammies) on and my door wide open It was hot in my apartment.  It was about 1am...when hot guy came limping home (I'm nosey he works 2nd shift and I found out later he was at the ER).  And there I am sitting in my living room, in my jammies surrounded by Christmas decorations....hahaha.  Anyway, he actually made a point to say something to me first so I made a real effort to hold my end of the conversation up.  I asked him about his limp.  So it goes...me trying to be brave enough to talk to this guy up stairs.  I had to laugh...we actually had a conversation last night...and I forgot to ask his name.  So he's still hot guy.  I have to remember to ask his name.  I have the tendency to lose my train of thought around him.

So today I am working out.  Then I am running out to Walmart to pick up a few things.  Then I am going to finish decorating and cleaning.  My day in a nut shell.

Christine- it sounds like just enough activity to me.  You are doing great.

Lisa-  this is the perfect day to put up your lights.  It's supposed to be a great weather day.

Well I guess I will do some laying around and be all lazy before I start everything

Have a wonderful day all...see ya later...bye

Today I am first being thankful for being alive.  A friend from high school died 11/5.  He had GBS that went terribly wrong is all the news I got.  I know that could easily have been my story even with everything going right.  The short days wear on me and of course studying for this final does not do a lot for attitude improvement.  There is so much more about this language that I will learn once I actually begin to produce programs so I really want to nail down the basics.  The language incorporates a lot of the things I would have done had I built the language myself.  Indeed I did create such a language 37 years ago for my operating system class except that it was a compiled language and this is an interpreter.  I went to Jewel yesterday for enough stuff to get us to Tday but still have to figure out what we will do for Tday exactly.  I have to call a lady in charge of a dinner at Mt. Olive for Tim's House and see what we can do.

So onward to nailing this language down though in a few hours I may go ahead and take the final.  Cheryl has 9 days so she will likely make me get out and do things once I have taken the final.

HI Randy,

I am so sorry for the loss of your friend at such a young age. It is so hard to wrap our minds around someone from our generation passing away. For a long while, a bunch of my younger brother's friends passed away from heart attacks and he really had a hard time going to all those wakes and funerals. It felt surreal to me since they were all younger than I. Many were in better shape than I and it made no sense. It goes to show when it is our time, it simply is.

I know how difficult it has to be to learn this new computer language. I have so much respect for you. I would not have the desire at this stage of the game to even try something like that. Being in the midst of all this learning it cant be easy to see how far you have come. But you have stayed with it and you are making great progress.

Our church is in the beginning stages of starting a LaVinia. That is a spanish speaking service for our community. I would love to be involved in that but do not know how to speak Spanish. I wish I had taken the time to learn it. I speak german, but now that my mom is gone, I rarely use it.

{{{Hugs}}}

Liebe Randy,

Not sure if Bayern is Northern or Southern but my jaws prefer Southern.  I am friends with the current leader of whatever Here's Life Europe id currently called and another missionary to Germany who is always taking Deutche.  Deutche is also the second language in Texas which is an accomplishment being that close to mexico but a lot of Czech as well. My sister in law is full blood German and her brother pastors a Lutheran church in Goliad Texas which is interesting history.

Hi Chris and IL Friends,

I have been without my desktop. I am adjusting to my IPad and find I spend very little time on social media due to this change.

I am trying so hard to lose this weight. I am at another stall and its difficult to stay focused when I eat so little and work out everyday. At the pool yesterday someone mentioned changing up my workout since my body is used to the daily aerobics and weight training.

Hope everyone is doing great on this gorgeous day.

Hugs,

Sharon
