Friday Roll Call

Hello everyone

Yeah it's Friday!!!  I am sooo happy.  And then someone reminded me that next week is only a 3 day work week...how can I forget this???  I must be pretty content at my job, because all of the years prior I was looking forward to this for weeks and counting down the days.  Now I have to be reminded...go figure.

Today after work I have a few stores to go to...Target, Menards, Walmart.  Then off to Chipotle...my every Friday night treat.  Of course the way I eat it it's not fattening at all.  I only have steak, cheese and salsa on mine.  I also tear away most of tortilla.  But since I get a small burrito I get charged less than a regular one. 

Yesterday I got online and lodged a complaint with the post office.  I will see where that gets me.  They say it takes 2-3 days to get a reply.  If I don't get one I will go in person.  But I thought I could see what happens this way.

I took a cold tablet last night, and just woke. I have an appointment with the car doctors at 8. I  hope they can either bring me home or give me a loner. Friday is nor the day to be stuck there waiting on my buggy.

Cristine, glad to see you are getting better.

Nancy, so  sorry you had to take a sick day.

Crystal, I hope you get the mail problem solved.

Dawn, good luck on your orientation.

Besides the car this morning, I have a few other errands to run. Hope they can get finished 

early.

More studying for me today.  Almost not worth typing that.  Hope G2, Nancy, Chris and Liv are doing well with their mending.  I have five pounds that keeps coming and going.  Right now it is time for it to go again.

Good Friday Morning!

I am back in the saddle again today!  I slept most of yesterday.  I guess that is what I needed.  I was ready to get up when the alarm went off.

No plans for the weekend other than shopping and enjoying Gage. 

Crystal, I hope you get someplace with the post office.  Also I saw you post about plastics.  You insurance may cover that.  You never  know until you try.

Lisa, I am sorry you are trying to get sick.  IT is not fun.

Good Morning Everyone.

Is everyone ready for Thanksgiving? It's the most challenging day for me. I want to eat some of everything and there is just not enough room, I do enjoy the cooking.

This year my daughter in law and son are hosting, I will likely be working, I hope they save me a plate.

Is everyone gearing up for Black Friday??? 

Happy Friday for those of you that a weekend is coming up.

( for me it is Tuesday)

I hope to change that and get a better shift in December.

right now I am 2:30 - 11pm  - with Tue Wed off

considering  7pm- 3am with a Fri Sat off. - these crazy hours would work well with me driving my daughter to O'Hare at 5am  for her work. Seems like I just get to sleep and then have to drive and come back and get a few more winks.

I was going to bake a banana cake this morning but found out we are out of eggs... I am too sleepy to run to the store.

I guess I was not too receptive to posters yesterday and did not reply to people. I realized later in the evening that I did not get a nap in yesterday either. I ended up sleeping close to 12 hours overnight.

Today is a "lay" back day. I guess I will sit with a 'puter on my lap and surf the 'net. There is m day in a nutshell.

Good afternoon Crystal and the rest of Illinois!

I am working today and about to eat lunch.  The orientation at the airport was fun and informative.  I can start as soon as Monday if I wish.  I tried to talk to my family about it last night but did not get any responses as to what their plans were.  I guess they are all "big" and can fend for themselves and I will just not worry about them.  Looks like Monday and Wednesday evening will work best for me.

Liv and I are attending a "Sweet 16" party to night for the girl that she goes to Homecomings with.  I have NO idea what to do for a gift.

I actually have no motivation to shop for anything.  If I don't get on it soon, we will be having soup for Thanksgiving.  I have not purchased a turkey for the fryer nor decided on what to make.  Oh well.......it will work out.

I have no idea what is in store for the weekend.  Maybe a day trip to Madison.
