Praising God for Chris' blessings. Chris, I am so glad to see you are up and around.

Crystal I know it's hard not being able to talk to your daughter whenever you want, but it's going to be such a beautiful moment when you can connect again. She is an amazing gal. 

Lisa and Nancy, I know you are happy it's Friday. Nancy, how's Beemer?

Randy, you always amaze me with your spirit of giving and selflessness.

Connie, I know you are hunkering down and creating everyone's Christmas gifts....another giver.

Dawn, I'm glad Liv is doing well.

Hi Karen, I always enjoy seeing your lurks.

I have been in a major funk. My mom passed one year ago yesterday and my heart knows she is with Jesus, but my heart also misses her. I made a decision a year ago not to touch her room for a year, and yesterday finally went into her room. I could smell her beautiful fragrance in her closet and just wanted to sit down in there and not leave. I still am not ready to clean out that space. I don't know if I ever will be. 

My girlfriend came to my house at 6:30a yesterday to get me out of my funk and make me go to the gym. I had blown off Wednesday's zumba class and she made sure I got back on track yesterday. Thank God for my dear friend Becky.

I have been getting up at 4am everyday ever since the time change. I love it. I just love the morning. 

I am going to an International Prayer concert in Bolingbrook tonight with my Becky and some other girlfriends. We will go for coffee afterwards. I love being with my girls. They are a group of bible thumping women who make me smile.

Good Morning Sharon and All.

Yesterday was a really busy day for me at work. But at least it was controlled. I am setting up appointments for Thursdays, and it works great. I was even able to squeeze in two extra clients, and still get out of there before 5.

My plan for today is to clean the dining room. Even if hubby is still working on the newest project in there. I am so tired of looking at the clutter he created when he started. His idea of starting with a clean work space is to pile everything on a table or floor, and work around it.  My idea is to put stuff in totes and move them out of the room.

This is a 4 day weekend for me.

Thank you for the prayers. Any 2 way communication between here and with the Lord is great.

I slept last night. Even though it was fragmented it was good and helped. I guess the plans today is to continue to get me to void. They had to put in a Foley for over night. I think I heard that they are going to turn off the auto pain med. That is part of the problem because that is a narcotic and that surpressess the ability to go. I also cannot walk by myself because of the narcotic, hospital policy due to the fact that I could keel over.  Going to get a shower sometime this morning - YEAH!.

If I think of anything else later then I will stop by and chat.

Sharon, I know how hard it is with missing your mom.  Hugs.  You will know when you are ready to clean her room.  Memories are a beautiful thing so treasure them. 

Lisa, good luck with your projects!  Trying to clean up after a man can be challenging.  Think god Rick is a neat freak.  I dont have to worry about that.  He drives me nuts in the opposite direction.  As fare as how you can help, I just need support.  I am tearing my hair out over this nazi monitoring system and grammar check.  When they ding you for saying "Is this ... Instead of saying "Am I speaking with ..." It just gets to you.  This is one of many examples.  You get so you are afraid to talk and then you are supposed to keep your calls under 5 minutes.  So there you are trying to sound natural, thinking about everything you are going to say before saying it and trying not to say uhm.  It seems impossible!

Karen, it is really good hearing from you.

Chris, I am so glad to hear that you are up and moving.  I know you probably feel awful after surgery but it is great to see you moving!  Keep it up but DONT over do it.

Hello Friends!

Today is for learning about my new iPhone, then some knitting to calm down! LOL

Yesterday I cleaned up my yarn and roving (pre-yarn for spinning). Then I cleaned out the bottom of my closet which was filled with yarn and summer shoes. I'd do something in the computer room and then take it to the kitchen and clean something there and go back to the computer. After a whole morning of scattered cleaning I went to the grocery store. I took a nap in the afternoon!

Last night I started a new shawl in a lovely purple yarn.

Off to the shower and then to Verizon.

Good morning Sharon and the rest of Illinois!

I am working today and just got back from a visitation for a lovely woman.  This woman has 7 children and tons of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  They did the most wonderful thing!  Each of the grand-daughters wore one of the lady's dresses and jewelry.  They looked lovely and some of the dresses were certainly vintage.  I just LOVED this idea.

After work I need to stop at the store because Riley wants to make pizza again.  I will make mine with the cauliflower crust again as it was really yummy!  Not sure what we will do in the morning.  I need an oil change so maybe Liv will keep her company   while I get that chore done.  Todd and I are attending a birthday party tomorrow afternoon.

Nancy---I don't know how you stand it.  I get your frustration.  It would not be so bad if they had maybe trained you on all this beforehand.  It is hard to think on the spot how to say certain things in a different way.  Hang in there, I know you will get it.

Gotta get back to work.

It is about 10pm, I am just now sitting down. I have been on the go since this morning. 

Went for my school bus physical and drug screen. Dr was funny when she heard my heart, she said your heart beats have a beat of their own! I have a regular beat and then a nother that is out of place. She said my pulse was low too. Then after exercise it was doubled. I have had issues with the heart that has doctors puzzled since lap band surgery. Dr Rosen made me go through a whole cardiac work up, before I could leave the hospital. 

I am glad to see everyone is doing well.
