Sunday Roll Call
I'm a day behind. Yesterday was so beautiful I was out in it early and stayed out. I detailed my car yesterday. It took me a good part of the day but it looks new again. My buggy is a senior citizen. She is 10 yes old and has 150K miles but I love her and hope she's around forever.
When I walked in my house I noticed Wolfie wasn't around. That's rare. So after some searching I found him with a fever under my bed. We took him to the Er Vet and he has a UTI. Thank goodness it was bacterial and a shot was given. He would have had to take meds twice a day for 14 days if it wasn't bacterial. I thought of Beemer and knew I got lucky this time.
Church this morning. Football this evening. Perfect day for me. What about you?
Good Morning,
Yesterday I was able to get what needed to be done, done. I also had let a knife on top of a burner on the stove, and It burned up. Ok, minus one steak knife.
Today, we are going to Yorkville. We are going to help the kids do a few things in the Townhouse.
Also giving thanks today to all of our vets, and currenty Servicemen and Women.

Hello everyone
Well my party went well. There was far too much food there...after I told everyone they didn't have to bring anything they did anyway. So we had a huge spread and tons of wine. I'm not normally a drinker but I drank a little too much wine and I'm feeling the effects today. My stomach is sooo upset. Oh we were so loud too...I wonder if the neighbors were bothered. Then again they are loud sometimes too and I never complain. It was lots of fun and I laughed so hard I almost peed my pants a couple of times...hahaha!!!!
So in light of my upset stomach and over all blah feeling all plans for today are called off....except laundy..I need to do my laundry. And I'm hoping that by 4 or 5 I will be feeling better. But no working out and no errands. At least I was smart enough last night to clean up after the party before I went to bed. So that I don't have to worry about. People didn't leave till 2am and I didn't get to bed till 3:30am. And I was still up at 8am...still relatively early considering how late I was up.
I am planning a day of laying on the couch and doing nothing. I did run out to Walmart to get some Tums and a newspaper. But that's it.
Lisa- I agree we need to remember the Vets and their scarifies.
Sharon- I can relate...I always get attached to my cars. My last car (Stanley) I had him for 9 years before I had to let him go. Now I have had this car (Ryan) for 4 years. I love him lots. I always name my cars...and I always name them boy names...I don't drive girl cars!!!!

Good Morning Everyone!
Another day to enjoy before it is back to work time. I did shopping yesterday and I am just hanging around today. I came down with a cold Friday. Do not feel great so am taking it easy.
Sharon, I hope Wolfie feels better soon. It is so hard to have a sick cat. You feel so sorry for them and you cant explain to them that you understand how they feel. Sigh. Beemer is doing great right now. No peeing incidents. Gets his medicine fairly regularly but still does not like it.
Lisa, I hope you have a good day at Annette's They are surely anxious to get settled back in their home.

Nancy- They were going to go upstairs and invite hot guy over for some beer and pizza. They figured what guy wouldn't want beer and pizza. Once they got him in my apartment they were going to try to fix us up!!! But thank god that didn't happen. The night went along and we started talking and joking and drinking wine...and we just kind of forgot about the whole "hot guy" thing. Except when we were laughing about all the noise he was making upstairs. He's kind of loud...banging things around...I really don't know what he does up there to make all the noise he makes...but he does get quite...loud. So we were trying to figure out what it was he was doing. The wild stories we were coming up with....it was funny.
And the loud noises really don't bother me. I am used to it. I lived in apartments most of my life. I just don't like loud music, bugs, or bratty kids....loud banging...is fine
